Rokas,

I am communicating with you through the internet. I see that we are working together as well.

Unit 5 Stuff for Tomorrow

[edit]

Rokas,

So if you haven't looked at it for tomorrow we need to do some stuff on our group page. We need to do two articles a piece. Since I would rather not have overlap, I am doing my assessments on Gene Knockdown and Viral Transformation. Let me know what you are up to.

Dmille96 (talk) 04:18, 8 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dmille,

Great, I am going to assess the histone octamer and ribonucleoprotein. Does that sound like topics of interest potentially?

rokas (talk) 15:35, 8 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Don't forget to use indentation when responding to someone on a talk page. Klortho (talk) 17:36, 8 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Those sound fine. We should be able to find quite a bit of information on those.

Unit 6 Deciding on our Article

[edit]

Which article do you want to do? Do you feel strongly about any of the articles that you did? Get back to me ASAP. Dmille96 (talk) 21:39, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Dmille, I am very open to which ever article, maybe except for gene knockout... it already has a bit of stuff in it and it might be a lot of work to edit it, rather than just write another article from scratch. Also, either histone octamer is protein related, so maybe I'd feel more comfortable with it. What do you feel most comfortable about?
rokas (talk) 21:56, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
If you are comfortable with the histone octamer I'd say we go for it. It's still open and there's probably a lot of research on it. Neither of mine were that great so I would say this is the best bet.
Want me to make the change or do you want to do it? Also the assignment says we need to write a 200-300 segment claiming it. Not sure if that means each of us needs to do it but I would guess we just one.
Dmille96 (talk) 22:19, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Also you should probably post on the group talk page. Part of your grade depends on it.

Unit 7 Stuff

[edit]

Sup rokas,

Just getting the ball rolling for the stuff we need done by tomorrow. We need:

  1. Outline for what we intend to add; we'll do it in YOUR sandbox because why not
  2. List of references we've used or plan to use in the sandbox
  3. Then we need to post our suggested improvements to the talk page of the histone octamer article

Let me know if you've done anything so far to move this along more quickly.

Dmille96 (talk) 03:41, 22 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dmille, sure, I am getting started now. Are you able to use my sand box?
rokas (talk) 23:46, 22 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I can use it. I see you have some sources down already. We can continue the discussion there.
Dmille96 (talk) 00:39, 23 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Also do you have a gmail or some way for us to communicate other than through this system?
Dmille96 (talk) 00:46, 23 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
yes, can you email me using JHU email (rokasj1) and I will reply with the google name
rokas (talk) 00:57, 23 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Doesn't seem to be a valid address. Just send me, dmiller5191@gmail.com, an email from your account.
