Hello, I'm CanonNi. I noticed that you recently removed content from SM North EDSA without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into SM City North EDSA. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Thank you for your recent contributions, such as SM City Telabastagan. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft of your article in draftspace or in your userspace first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Thank you. Annh07 (talk) 12:42, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as SM City Telabastagan, to Wikipedia, as doing so is not in accordance with our policies. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Wikipedia:Your first article; you might also consider using the Article Wizard. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Thank you. Annh07 (talk) 12:54, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, as you did at SM City Telabastagan, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. Annh07 (talk) 13:05, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
SM City Telabastagan
[edit]Hi Roblox678956568, I'd encourage you to use the Articles for Creation process rather than overwriting a redirect. Fair warning is that your sourcing doesn't establish "notability" (see WP:NCORP), which we really ought to call "already published aboutness".
I would say your first job is to find additional sourcing for the SM City Telabastagan, rather than trying to put information about it into mainspace. Repeatedly overwriting the redirect currently at the title SM City Telabastagan is only likely to cause you trouble. Annh07 (talk) 13:04, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
