Tom Waits

[edit]

Why on earth remove that wonderful picture of Tom Waits? I really liked that previous photo! Was something about it unacceptable?DBaba 05:12, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple edits

[edit]

Instead of saving the page multiple times to make sure a link works correctly (like on The Collective, Inc.), use the preview button. I had to check the URLs several times when I edited that page. Previewing instead of saving reduces the load on the server or something like that. Corky842 13:19, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Tom-waits.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Tom-waits.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Chowbok 02:04, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Grimace vandalism

[edit]

You posted this

"Ok, I understand that perhaps wikipedia might not be the place for trivia (or is it) but what exactly about that grimace article was vandalism? I added a sub topic and reorganized some things that were already there.RobertHeadley 04:54, 26 April 2007 (UTC)"

Sorry, the vandalism wasn't yours, I was just fixing several things at the same time. The vandalism part was the line that read "grimace rules poopytown." I don't think that was an edit of yours. Have a good day. K1ng l0v3 17:54, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have tagged Image:DavidEccles.jpg as {{replaceable fair use}}. If you wish to dispute this assertion, please add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}} to the image description page and a comment explaining your reasoning to the the image talk page. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 08:43, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
