Welcome!

The article S.p.y. has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Drikulaeritalk 16:58, 13 July 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Maduk (musician)
[edit]Hello Robcuiper,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Maduk (musician) for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Celestinesucess (talk) 08:13, 17 October 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:Active Directory. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Codename Lisa (talk) 13:01, 8 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Codename Lisa: The edit in question was not vandalism. It was an enforcement of WP:NOTFORUM. You should self revert and apologize to Robcuiper. 207.225.212.235 (talk) 01:43, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- Content deletion without justification is vandalism by definition, especially when it is abusing the minor edit flag too.
- See you around, sockpuppet. —Codename Lisa (talk) 05:12, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- So, if I make this edit and make a summary like "removed forum-like posts who dont add to the discussion" it's okay?Robcuiper (talk) 10:46, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- No, it isn't, because, first, WP:TPO does not sanction normal editors to do that; second, we actually have a Reference Desk to ask and answer the kind of questions that you deleted. So, as you can see, these communications are not entirely forbidden in Wikipedia.
- However, providing the aforementioned edit summary is still orders of magnitude better! This is called having transparency. With an edit summary, you are demonstrating that you are doing something in good faith. Believe me, if you had provided one, we'd be having a much more pleasant conversation; or maybe had none at all. Also, an edit summary justifies your action. Wikipedia's fundamental pillars allow ordinary rules of policies and guidelines to be bent and even broken, if there is sufficient justification.
- Best regards,
Codename Lisa (talk) 13:20, 9 February 2017 (UTC)- @Codename Lisa: Just admit that you didn't even look at the change before hitting revert in an effort to own the topic and now you are trying to save face. 2600:100E:B11B:ADFF:3468:351C:FD33:58A (talk) 15:01, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- Wow, RobCuiper! You've got staunch anonymous fans already! I envy you. (Well, not really. I actually know what's going on.) Please feel free to study WP:TPO and WP:MINOR to make an informed decision. I won't be bothering you on this anymore unless you have a question you want answered. —Codename Lisa (talk) 21:44, 9 February 2017 (UTC)

Assist with Dnb and Dubstep Article
[edit]Good morning Rob - I'm currently having issues with a page I created for Katfyr. The page has now been marked for deletion. I believe the reason why it has been marked for deletion is that the users are not familiar with this niche article. For example, I see that you had the same issue posting about Noisecontrollers. As someone who understands this market I can surely help support your efforts as well. Please help support keep my article on Katfyr as I have addressed the notability issues raised. The deletion contest is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Katfyr#Katfyr Best regards pbigio (talk) 8:48, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Pbigio: Honestly, I haven't heard of Katfyr before now, but this is already a better article then DJ_Heavygrinder! Speaking of which, is there a source that they are married?
