Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Jayne Ann Krentz may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Hello, I'm Anupmehra. I noticed that you recently removed some content from San Jose State Spartans without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Space grant v. land grant
[edit]Your change of land grant to sea grant has been removed at the article on SJSU. The two types of grants are not equivalent, and only land grant describes the type of institution. Space Grant (along with Sea Grant and Sun Grant) are grant programs designed to encourage IHE's to develop activities and research programs in the sciences (aerospace in the case of a space grant). SJSU and most other CSU campuses are land grant campuses because they were founded on specific grants of land given to the state for the purpose of founding a state institution of higher education, with specific criteria for what that institution could be (one of the major reasons that the CSU's, until very recently, could not grant independent doctoral degrees.) SJSU will always be a land-grant institution; that should never be removed. Space grant is one of numerous federal programs designed to encourage and support specific faculty projects. It does not fund the university in toto, but rather then activities of specific departments/colleges/faculties. You need to read up, carefully, on the difference and refrain from making erroneous edits. --Drmargi (talk) 00:36, 26 July 2014 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. [edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Chesterton High School, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page WEC (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Bowie High School (Arlington, Texas), you may be blocked from editing. Your addition of MMA related trivia to notable alumni sections on school articles and notable people sections on settlement articles has been reverted dozens of times across dozens of articles. Both WP:ALUMNI and WP:USCITY are clear on what should be included for copy in those lists. Hint: MMA trivia is not it. If you add this garbage to even one more article prior to establishing a consensus for it, you're going to find out how ANI works. I'm getting tired of cleaning up after you. John from Idegon (talk) 04:05, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Thurston High School. John from Idegon (talk) 06:10, 22 June 2018 (UTC)

TheFamousPeople.com as a source
[edit]Hi Rnmorf6. I noticed that you recently used thefamouspeople.com as a source for biographical information in Josh Koscheck. Please note that there is general consensus that thefamouspeople.com does not meet the reliable sourcing criteria for such information. (Discussions here and here). If you disagree, let's discuss it. Thanks. --Ronz (talk) 17:55, 4 July 2018 (UTC)

If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
