If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mohamed Rimzan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Thebestofall007 (talk) 23:12, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please do not write an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of NDICT

[edit]

A tag has been placed on NDICT, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Moreover, please add more verifiable sources, not only 3rd party sources. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 00:24, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article NDICT Veyangoda 2012 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Text has no apparent relationship to title, and does not tell us anything about the supposed subject of the article. Not an asset to the encyclopedia.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from History of Kahatowita, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. - MrX 15:29, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Speedy at Rimzan

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for taking the time to create a page here. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you created yourself. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the deletion tag you removed from Rimzan. Please do not continue to remove the deletion tag, instead, if you disagree with the deletion, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the page by clicking this link. Once there, select the button that says Click here to contest this speedy deletion.
  2. This will take you to the talk page, where you can make your case by explaining why the page does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do. For further help about the deletion, you could contact the user who first placed the tag or a highly active user who is willing to help with deletion. This message was left by a bot, so please do not contact the bot about the deletion. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 15:45, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not move your user page into the article name space

[edit]

Please do not move your user page into the article name space.

Please read WP:MOVE for more information. If you wish to change your account username, please read WP:RENAME and request it here: WP:CHUS

User pages need to remain in the user name space. If you are trying to create an encyclopedia biography article about yourself, please read WP:AUTO, WP:COI and WP:FIRST.

If you have any question or need help, please post them here, and someone will try to assist you. - MrX 16:30, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your user name

[edit]

I've moved everything back to here as this is your account and your user space. If you want a change of user name, you must use the procedure listed above. You cannot change your name simply by moving things yourself. If you do move things around again, it could be regarded as disruptive editing. I would also warn you that you do not seem to meet the standard for an article about yourself - please read WP:BIO, and WP:RS which is about the reliable independent sources you will have to give if you do meet the standard. Not many people in the world do meet the standard, by the way. Do remember that this is an encyclopaedia and not social media like MySpace and Facebook. If you want an internet page about your self, I would suggest LinkedIn which is for professionals to post their profiles and other details. Wikipedia is not for this sort of thing. If you have any questions, please post them here. I am watching this page, and I'm sure others are too. Please do not try any things you are really not quite sure of without asking first. Wikipedia isn't as easy as a lot of people think. Peridon (talk) 17:15, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yes, I am watching too. You are certainly not entitled to an entry in the (article) namespace. Furthermore it is a moot point whether you are even entitled to a user page since your actual encyclopedic contributions are negligible. I suggest you follow Peridon's advice and create a presence for yourself somewhere else. Why keep trying here where you get constant grief when no-one else can touch your facebook page? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:42, 19 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Your instant reaction to my message above was to move this page. I call that childish behaviour. Although I have blocked you, you may still edit this page and Peridon and I would both be interested to know what is your objection to using the proper account renaming procedure. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:06, 19 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You have been blocked from editing for a period of two weeks for persistent disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Yunshui  10:02, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is not Facebook. If your purpose is to create a page about yourself, you are in the wrong place. You may want to consider alternative outlets. If you want to help contribute to the encyclopedia, you will be welcome to stay; however, if you continue writing about yourself once your block expires you will be blocked indefinitely.
