ArbCom 2018 election voter message

Hello, Richardkiwi. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Hallo Richard, ik begrijp dat je ook nederlands bent, kan je me helpen? het schijnt dat ik dingen verkeerd heb gedaan. Ik was bezig om de pag Sam Shockley ( Alcatraz) engels, bij te werken omdat ik heel veel documenten uit de VS heb hierover. Sorry als ik hier niet had mogen schrijven, maar ik heb geen idee hoe met je in contact te komen. Ik begrijp niet waarom men de toevoegingen niet accepteerd. Dus ben ik nu maar gestopt. Hallo Linda, ik keek al naar aanleiding van een opmerking op de Nederlandstalige Helpdesk. Zijn de documenten die je hebt uniek, of kunnen anderen ze ook raadplegen? Het is belangrijk om in eigen woorden een en ander toe te voegen en dan het betreffende document als referentie op te geven. De documenten dienen dan wel gezaghebbend te zijn en niet iemands mening weer te geven. Als je me meer informatie geeft (ik ben totaal niet ingelezen in het artikel en heb alleen de opmaak wat bijgeschaaft) dan kan ik er misschien wat mee. Ook zie ik dat er veel POV (point of view) wordt verwijderd, bijvoorbeeld (even in het Nederlands): 'dit was de bloedigste aanslag in de ....' Zoiets vraagt meteen al een bron. Je kunt zo'n tekst neutraler schrijven of van een bron voorzien. - Richardkiwi (talk) 15:45, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hallo Linda, je Engels en Nederlands zijn niet zo heel goed (althans, voor Wikipedia dan, op zich valt het mee), ik hoop dat je goed naar de taal kijkt (desnoods controleert via een online-woordenboek). De documenten kunnen wel naar Wikipedia:OTRS gestuurd worden of je kunt ze naar Wikimedia Commons uploaden. Let wel dat ze vrij moeten zijn van copyrights in het laatste geval, zodat de licentie van Wikimedia kan worden gebruikt. Bij OTRS kunnen ze dan bevestigen dat het klopt, als je voor het eerste kiest. Dan is het de bedoeling het nog goed te verwoorden (zowel de tekst als de bron). Veel meer kan ik niet doen, ik heb de tijd, zin en dergelijke niet en heb ook de documenten niet. Ik wens je wel veel succes en het hoeft niet in een dag af toch? Hallo Richard, de documenten zijn uit het Nat. Archive van San Francisco, dus kopieën van orgineel. Dus gezaghebbend en staan niet op het internet. Ik mag gegevens hieruit gebruiken maar de documenten niet in zijn geheel op internet plaatsen. ( copy rights NARA CA)Er zijn dus geen links naar. Ik heb schriftelijke toestemming van Ernest Lageson, schrijver van 2 vermelde boeken om hem te citeren indien nodig, ik kan deze man en correspondeer met hem. Bloedigste aanslag had ik dus niet geschreven,maar mijn voorganger. Persoonlijk vind ik het ook wat vreemd , heb het wat proberen af te zwakken. Bronnen moeten wel verifieerbaar zijn, dus als anderen ze niet mogen inzien, maar jij wel bijvoorbeeld, dan wordt het een lastige zaak. Je kunt net als bij boeken een referentie maken met (ik noem maar wat hoor.. <ref>Nat. Archive of San Fransisco, Sam Shockley doc. page 1 line 37-40</ref> en hopen dat dit goedgekeurd wordt. In principe moet dit kunnen. Het wordt anders als men echt vraagt hoe men dat moet nagaan. Ik ga niet voor jou beslissen. Bij twijfel kun je altijd nog OTRS raadplegen (zie hierboven). Re New Clan House front door
