Hello
[edit]Hi Rachel, welcome to Wikipedia! I'm excited to have you on board the Global Education Program. Annie Lin (Wikimedia Foundation) (talk) 23:27, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
Hi Annie: I'm glad to have figured out how to things started. I look forward to working on this more. Rgkleit (talk) 23:29, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
Hi Rachel, Likewise. I put up a request for an online ambassador this afternoon. I will let you know if I see anyone sign on. I look forward to working with you and Erica this quarter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.161.122.238 (talk) 01:57, 27 September 2011 (UTC)
Hey Rachel! I'm excited to work with you this quarter - I've put together a first round ppt for Wednesday's presentation: [[1]] Let me know if there's anything else you'd like me to include! Elnel84 (talk) 06:32, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
Sure, I will post a pdf of the slides tonight (once they're finalized :) on the course talkpage - you have lots of great resources on there, too, so I think they'll be just fine. I'll be there and ready at 4:30 tomorrow! Elnel84 (talk) 01:09, 5 October 2011 (UTC)

Hi Rachel, I just wanted to make sure that the comment you read from me was on the Homelessness in the United States discussion page, and not on the Homelessness discussion page (as you indicated on my personal talk page). M. Umadhay (talk) 06:10, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
Copyright
[edit]Hi. Welcome, again, to Wikipedia! I am writing to you because, unfortunately, my first involvement with this program has been to delete as a copyright violation a sandbox page belonging to one of your students, Krider07 (talk · contribs). You can see on their talk page the message I left.
It is extremely important to get across to all the students the message that Wikipedia cannot host copyrighted material, not even in user pages, not even temporarily. It will be deleted at sight, and repeat offenders may be blocked.
The students should all read Wikipedia:Copy-paste, and also Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Please pass that message down to all of them and, if it has not yet been given to you, pass it up the chain as well. See WT:IEP for an awful example of what can happen to a student program without copyright discipline. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 21:55, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996
[edit]Hi!
I noticed you nominated Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 for good article status. I am willing to handle the nomination if you feel that would be appropriate (I wrote the peer review that is currently on the article talk page). If the issues noted in my peer review are fixed or otherwise addressed (usually by convincing me I am wrong) I think the article would be only a few short steps away from GA status. If you would prefer another editor undertake an independent review I completely understand but the queue for GA nominations can be quite long. Thanks for nominating the article and have a good day. Protonk (talk) 00:27, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
- Hello. Before I saw Protonk's note here, I started the good article review on my own. I have posted some initial concerns here. Feel free to leave a note here, at the review page, or at my talk page if you have any questions or concerns regarding the Good Article Nomination process. –Grondemar 04:32, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
