It is useless to put everywhere citations. You are as the Greeks. Please, read the added sourses. Everything is there! Jingby (talk) 16:37, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well Jingby, I believe that we are very very close to a neutral article here. Let us only settle on these several minor issues stated above and there will be no problem. I PROMISE that after we agree on the upper and improve the neutrality I WILL whach the final version of the article that we will agree on together, and will defend it from vandalization. I really have good intentions and i want to finish with this issue as you want to finish too (as you see i included several photos and restructured ti improve the looks and imputed neutral data). if you want, after this we can do the same with other disputed articles, and thus we can be a good example. Regards, and wishing you all the best. --Revizionist (talk) 19:20, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Presidium PRMacedonia.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Presidium PRMacedonia.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Kursk
That "Eastern Front in Photographs" book, does it happen to have any photos of the Battle of Kursk that we don't already have? Preferrably one that shows armoured combat or artillery (such as a Katyusha). Oberiko (talk) 14:31, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'm in Canada myself. Thanks for the Kursk photographs. For all the images we have of that battle, we don't have any good ones of Soviet artillery (that was at Kursk) or of Soviet tanks in action at the battle. Ideally, I'd like a better photograph then the one on the right to represent Soviet actions from the time of Kursk until mid-1944; one from the battle itself would be a considerable plus. Oberiko (talk) 21:38, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- Great, thanks for the photos Revizionist. I'll utilize them in the correct locations when I have a moment. Oberiko (talk) 01:31, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
WWII image
Revizionist, we made a decision pretty early on in the WWII refactoring to keep images restricted to one or two (possibly three if the section is long enough) per section to avoid potential image overload (such as on some articles where the entire right column is a wall of images) and for size reasons. Please talk it to the talk page if you want to add / change an image. Also, check the infobox talk page for the image discussion. Oberiko (talk) 14:47, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

WWII images
Hello Revizionist.
We're trying to get WWII up to FA standards, so we're being pretty careful about what's going in there. I'd recommend bringing any proposed changes up in the talk page before doing so. Oberiko (talk) 12:57, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not trying to exclude anything, but we're taking a pretty minimalist approach. Early on in the redrafting of the WWII article we agreed on two photos per section (and have had pretty extensive debates over which two) unless we could reach agreement that a section was large enough for three (and then we discussed which additional photo to use).
- It might seem excessive, but there are plenty of articles (take a look at Soviet invasion of Poland (1939) for a quick example) where photo inclusion has gone rampant.Oberiko (talk) 13:13, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- Except the Manual of Style overrides anything we have, and it clearly says to avoid sandwiching text between two imags. Please take this up on the talk page of World War II. Oberiko (talk) 13:55, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:421 nof 2.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:421 nof 2.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by an adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Angr 11:49, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
AWARD
May 2008
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on National Liberation War of Macedonia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. As I said in my talk page, I have already blocked User:Kobra85 for 24 hours for violating WP:3RR, even though he has not performed 3 reverts in a 24-hour period. The policy states that blocks can occur outside of that definition of 3RR if the reverts are clearly disruptive, and they do appear to be in this case. However, I also want to ensure you also understand this policy, as you have participated in the edit warring as well. Thanks. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 15:36, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Kostas Novakis
- The article Kostas Novakis has been completely changed by 157.228.x.x into one which I can only argue as POV pushing (Revision history of Kostas Novakis). The current article has removed most Macedonian sources which shows he states his language is Macedonian, he is ethnic Macedonian and so on. I luckily have saved Macedonia related articles which I knew would be changed constantly, but I am banned from editing Macedonia related issues. You can easily compare the older version below to the current article to view it is in fact POV pushed. Since I cannot edit Macedonia related issues, please use this template to create an article which is fair and neutral. Please tell other Macedonians on Wikipedia to keep a watch on the article. Mactruth (talk) 23:11, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Kostas Novakis (Greek: Κώστας Νοβάκης also in Macedonian: Костас Новакис) is a researcher of folk music in Greece[1]. He has produced traditional music of the Macedonia region and he has also produced songs in the Macedonian language[2].
Biography
Kostas Novakis was born in Koufalia, Thessaloniki prefecture, Greek Macedonia in 1957. Kostas works as a dentist in the same village and is a member of the Centre for Macedonian Culture.[3] [4]He is prominent for releasing several music albums with traditional songs and music of the region of Macedonia. He has also produced various albums with songs typical of the Greek province of Macedonia but with the lyrics recorded in the "dialect of the Aegean part of Macedonia."[5] . In Greece, the first CD with 13 Macedonian folk songs, called "A Letter from Thessalonica", was published in 2002, recorded by Kostas and Harula Novakis.
Also in 2002, Kostas was a special guest at the "Meeting of refugees from Aegean Macedonia" held in the town of Trnovo, Republic of Macedonia. The event is a gathering mainly attended by ethnic Macedonians originating from the Greek province of Macedonia.[6]
Kostas and his friends engaged an orchestra of 11 instrumentalists, five of whom come from the Republic of Macedonia[7]:
- Ilija Petrusev – tambour
- Ljupco Petkov – clarinet
- Petar Temenugov – harmonics
- Lazar Stankov – guitar
- Lazo – efonio
Quotes
"I had this really strong wish to give permanence to the songs that my grand mother, and the other grand-mothers from the village used to sing. The observation of the tradition and the Macedonian folklore are in my blood since childhood. I have recordings of about 1.000 songs with an original singing of the elderly inhabitants, and I sang these on the dialect of the Aegean part of Macedonia. This is the first time that a CD, with this kind of music, is published in Greece. We give it to friends in Greece, we sent it to Australia and Canada, and it is played on the local radio stations." I just found your mk:Слика:Prosek.jpg was uploaded here on en-wiki by somebody else who was relying on you being the creator; however, it is a blatant copyright violation [2]. Please note that, as your copyvios on mk-wiki affect us negatively here on en-wiki, I might have to block you here on en-wiki if I don't see your act over there cleaned up. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Balisti.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Balisti.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:29, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Image deletion (Image:Elpida karamandi Stamp.jpg)
Hi there. I was reviewing some images and I noticed that Image:Elpida karamandi Stamp.jpg is a stamp being used on an article about a person. If the stamp is copyrighted, our non-free content policy means we can't do that. It would have to be used in an article about the stamp or stamps. See point number three here: "Stamps and currency: For identification of the stamp or currency, not its subject.". Because of this, the image is likely to be deleted soon, unless there is a suitable stamp article for it. If you have any question or objections, please ask. Thanks. I agree that your version is more informative but you have to remove the following images: File:Kuzman josifovski.jpg and or upload pictures from these people. Regards, Isavevski (talk) 09:00, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Well its worthless and useless arguing with Kobra. I politely asked him to stop vandalize the article because you have enough references and ideas, but he started offending us- calling both of us as illiterate . But we will wait. The smart guy is a patient and polite guy. Regards--MacedonianBoy (talk) 18:33, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
Images
Instead of always having a sad about your improperly licensed images, try reading some Wikipedia policies, yeah? Wikipedia:Image use policy state that "in general, galleries are discouraged in main article namespace; historically, such galleries are more often deleted than kept." It also states that "articles may get ugly and difficult to read if there are too many images crammed onto a page with relatively little text." That's right, ugly. You also can't just use dozens of non-existent acronyms on articles just to save time. Köbra | Könverse 07:43, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
- About the images, yes you are right, images make an article ugly if put "...onto a page with relatively little text.", but the article National Liberation War of Macedonia, is not an article with relatively little text, so your argument is negligible. Image source problem with Image:Germanokratomeni MK.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Germanokratomeni MK.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:28, 28 September 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Angr 20:28, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Image tagging for Image:Kalchev verdict.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Kalchev verdict.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Disputed non-free use rationale for Image:Mihailo Apostolski.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Mihailo Apostolski.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Angr 21:10, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
