[edit]Additional comment: Using the AFC process is in no way compulsory. You could have posted the page directly into article space. You may in fact do that at any point now. Alternatively, I could approve the article and move it there. In either of these cases, there is a risk that it will be nominated for deletion by somebody, but it is far more likely to get wider attention in such a debate than it ever gets as a draft. Draft reviewers get jaded and sometimes overly picky and hesitant to approve anything outside their comfort zone.
I have, quite honestly, no idea how to recognize the significance of an Australian children's author. I don't recognize the name of the organizations and awards, the places where things have been published about her. I do recognize the name of the publisher Allen & Unwin, so you may want to add publisher to every title she has published.
What would particularly help is references either to reviews or articles in large mainstream newspapers or to articles in peer-reviewed academic journals that discuss Ciddor and her work. --Hegvald (talk) 02:22, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
