Are mormons smart?
Oh, yes they are. Are they right? I believe not. Wisdom and intelligence don't correspond to each other quite perfectly. Have a nice day! Rursus dixit. (mbork3!) 12:11, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
- I would contend theists have little of either. --NEMT (talk) 13:26, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
A word to the wise
Equating faith with mental illness, particularly as you did here, is just a touch on the harsh side, along with the charming section on your user page that describes members of a particular religion as dullards. Before you accuse me of being a theist, I'm not. It might be worth cooling the tone down a bit so that you don't offend people. Regards, Brammers (talk/c) 22:34, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is supposed to be uncensored, even when a lack of censorship may offend people. Unfortunately this hasn't stopped wikipedia editors from treating religious topics with undeserved reverence and refusing to properly classify delusional, self destructive, superstitious beliefs and practices. Regarding severe mental health issues as sacred does nothing to help the problem. It's only right for people suffering from various psychological problems to have their maladies called into question in the context of editing an encyclopedia. I doubt anyone is happy psychosis plagues modern society, at least in the anglophone world, to such an extent, but such is life. --NEMT (talk) 01:51, 25 May 2011 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
