Thanks for helping by giving advice on the above article and leaving a message on my talk page. I do appreciate it. I'm aware that several of the articles I'm writing at present are orphans. This is because they have only relatively recently be given appropriate binomial names and the genus they belong to appears yet to have been writing about in Wikipedia. I'm attempting to cover those species that are critically endangered in New Zealand and hope that once added to Wikipedia other editors will give me a hand linking them in. If others fail to do this I am aiming to de-orphan once I've caught up on those species with no current articles. I'm trying to make it easier for other editors to assist by making sure I add them to the appropriate Wikiprojects to ensure other editors interest in this area are alerted to the article deficiencies. It certainly helps if people such as yourself add the appropriate orphan markup when patrolling the articles as there is so much to do. Thanks again for your help Ambrosia10 (talk) 07:36, 1 September 2015 (UTC)

Hillside World Academy

Dear Musa,

We notice that you have tagged for deletion the page that we have created for Hillside World Academy. This page is one of many that are listed under International Schools Singapore. It is a listing page that then goes to a detail page for each school. We had a listing in it for Chinese International School but the school has recently changed names so we are updated the page.

Please can you re-look and reconsider the deletion.

Altered speedy deletion rationale: Shri vaikunda vishnu perumal temple

Hello Musa Raza, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I deleted Shri vaikunda vishnu perumal temple, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided. The speedy deletion criteria are extremely narrow and specific, and the process is more effective if the correct criterion is used. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. —SpacemanSpiff 19:54, 6 September 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of John Madigan (rugby union)

Hi, I don't understand why this article has been nominated for deletion. It is for a new player who made his debut over the weekend - new players have always had their page created upon winning their first cap, it's been this way for years. Why is this suddenly a problem? Edit-warring on Asrar (musician)

Hello Musa Raza. I saw your request on Wikipedia:Requests for page protection, and I've declined it. The edits that TheRedPenOfDoom made aren't vandalism - on the contrary, they are entirely within Wikipedia policy. We are not allowed to add copyrighted images to articles in violation of Wikipedia's non-free content criteria, and we must always cite quotations to a reliable source. You need to discuss your reverts on the talk page rather than edit warring - if you keep on edit warring, then you are very likely to be blocked. I'll leave you a templated message about edit warring below. Let me know if you have any questions about any of this. Best — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 05:32, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges. Thank you. — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 05:32, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

@Mr. Stradivarius: I'm not engaging edit war. TheRedPenOfDoom is removing all the sections from the article and I'm just asking him to discuss it on talk page of the article before removing it. Okay, I agree the edits by TheRedPenOfDoom are not vandalism but if the article is broken into sections there is no need to remove the sections. The edits by TheRedPenOfDoom are unnecessary. The Image that violated copyrights has been removed but now there is no need to remove all the sections from the article. --Musa Talk  06:43, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

@TheRedPenOfDoom: The Image has been removed but please don't remove sections from the article discuss it on talk page.--Musa Talk  06:35, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

I have been reverting your edits based upon multiple policies. We will start with the non negotiable.
WP:V " All quotations,... must include an inline citation that directly supports the material." You keep attempting to restore a supposed direct quote from Asrar without providing a citation to the source. That is completely unacceptable.
In addition, our policies about living people require that claims about a persons religion MUST be sourced to a reliable source were the subject self identifies.
And furthermore the rest of the policy WP:BURDEN requires that any material that has been challenged (and removal is about the most challenge that one can think of) must be properly cited before restoring.
Even with a source, that quote is non encyclopedic / self serving / promotional and has no place being in an article without it being a response to what third parties have stated about the subject.
Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Lead_section#Length states that a good lead is 3-4 paragraphs. Given that this article is three very short paragraphs, it is well within what should be in the lead and well within what is visible in on shot on most desktop screens preventing our readers from having to scroll.
But even if we decided that we wanted to inconvenience our readers and make them scroll, the rest of WP:LEAD is clear that the content before the break must be a summary of what comes after the break. Your positioning of the break is just the opposite.
And finally your edit is mal-formatting content. Short works like songs are to be presented in "Quotes", with long form works like films or album presented in italic. The names of buildings and events are presented in normal text. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:13, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at Asrar (musician). Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 06:50, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

Also, you need to be aware that adding unsourced controversial claims about living people violates Wikipedia's policy on biographies of living people. You can only add these claims back to the article if you have a good source for them. I blocked you for the edit-warring mostly, but this, the quotation sourcing and the image copyright problems were all contributing factors. — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 06:56, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
@Mr. Stradivarius: That's not fair. I wasn't removing content from an article without any reason but you blocked me just because of TheRedPenOfDoom. He removed all the sections from the article without any reason and I'm blamed for the edit war. I'm blocked from Wikipedia because of this TheRedPenOfDoom. I have told that the image has been removed but there is no need to remove the sections and still if you want to delete all the sections from the article then atleast discuss it on talk page of the article but you didn't listen and blocked me.--Musa Talk  07:03, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
There's no particular policy on whether an article should have more sections or less. You need to discuss that with TheRedPenOfDoom on the article's talk page. But you were editing against policy by reinserting unsourced material on a biography of a living person, and there is no room for discussion there. TheRedPenOfDoom's edits followed policy, and yours did not, which is why I blocked you to stop the edit war rather than blocking TRPoD or fully protecting the article. — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 07:20, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

You can always make an unblock request. In fact, if you agree to stop edit warring at Asrar (musician) and to find a consensus with TheRedPenOfDoom on the article's talk page before you edit it again, then I'll unblock you myself. As long as you stick to WP:BLP, WP:V, and WP:NFCC, you probably won't find it too hard to come to an agreement. — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 08:42, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

Admin can full protect the page then these 2 involved parties can have discussion at talk page and can resolve issue. Both are sensible enough though Musa is new and it will take time for him to learn about 3rr, copyvivo and BLP issues.--Human3015TALK  09:33, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
TheRedPenOfDoom did make four reverts, but it's important to note that reversions of copyright violations and BLP violations are exceptions to the three-revert rule. Also, if I thought that both users were unambiguously edit warring, then usually I would block them both rather than protecting the page, as that leaves it free for other users to edit. — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 10:37, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

Continued addition of unsourced material to articles

In this edit to Hamza Ali Abbasi you added a year of birth that is not included in the corresponding source and you used the edit summary "copyedit (minor)", which is misleading. Given our previous conversation regarding sources I made it very clear that policy states you cannot add or change material in articles to say something that is not verified in the accompanying sources.
