M4D-sandbox
[edit]Sandbox articles are not to be in article space. I moved it to Draft:M4D-sandbox. Bgwhite (talk) 05:13, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
- Very sorry. It was only ever MEANT to be a sandbox article.I have no idea how it ended up in 'article space' & (I confess) no idea how to prevent such a thing happening in the future. Redwidgeon (talk) 03:45, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- No problems. You are new. If you even need help, give me a yell. Bgwhite (talk) 06:34, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- I appreciate the offer! I will be retiring in 2 years & one of my goals is to contribute more substantially to Wikipedia. Can you suggest a good tutorial for becoming more familiar with syntax etc.?
- Not really. There are so many different templates and rules that one can never become familiar with them all, not to mention things are always changing. I became semi-retired a few years back and turned to Wikipedia to keep busy and sane. After a few things, I decided I needed to take a few articles to Good Article and Featured Article status. Best learning experience one could have. It taught me what to do right and I met people who helped me along the way. So, the only advice I have is to dive in, ask questions and don't be afraid to goof up. Bgwhite (talk) 04:39, 15 September 2014 (UTC)

[edit]SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information. For more information about the columns and categories, please consult the documentation and please get in touch on SuggestBot's talk page with any questions you might have.
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker. -- SuggestBot (talk) 18:07, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
The book Book:Overview of Western Philosophy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
1 page book. Download as PDF feature is simpler for 1 page.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, books may be deleted for several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated book prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the book's talk page.
Please consider improving the book to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated book prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes still exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and the miscellany for deletion process allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ‑‑Trialpears (talk) 20:37, 22 December 2019 (UTC)

Stealing your thunder
[edit]Opened your user page after working with the Cuvier's beaked whale article. Seeing how much we have in common, I decided to steal your thunder. (I am making the change you suggested in that Talk page.) Still fiddling about, there. azwaldo (talk) 18:34, 19 January 2021 (UTC)
- EXCELLENT, azwaldo! I meant to get back to the article but stumbled into a deadline so had to put it on the back burner. Glad to see this tidied up & I hope to help out (on this article or similar) again soon.
