external links should be limited and universal

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a link wall. Including white pages to one country (say England) does no benefit to readers in another country (say Liberia) and adding links to every set of white pages becomes a spam wall of links. In addition, the external links themselves should be for supplying content about the subject to readers, not hooking them up with a search to be able to use the subject.

it is not at all unusual for editors to come in and not quite grasp the unique space and approach that it is in creating an encyclopedia in their first edits.
