RE: test article
Sorry about that, I wanted to see google stats for my user page and it required verification. Moved to my User:Archaios hierarchy. Archaios (talk) 02:45, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
LOTSW etc
Hi there. Tbh, the only sources i have on the subject are simply from watching the show. Over here you can't avoid it (there's two channels showing two different episodes as i type this!). I don't know whether the BBC themselves might have the sort of info you need. Another option might be http://www.summer-wine.com/indexbackup2.htm but whether they have the resources to help. For all I know they may be wikipedians anyway! Sorry I can't help more, but I'll have a look around to see if I can find anything. Ged UK (talk) 17:56, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Hi, just to add a similar reply, I have the episodes & the 30yrs of LotSW book, but neither of those have production codes. The BBC had a site last year which had programme info for all their shows, and which i think would have had the codes...I remember looking a few things up on it, (http://www.bbc.co.uk/archive/), but it was just a test site & it's offline at the momen. I'll keep an eye out, and see if I can find anything though. Paul 1978 (talk) 18:03, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

RE: June 2008
I deleted it because of the fact that it doesn't exist. :\ Skeletal_SLJCOAAATR_Soul_Striker_of_Vengence (talk) 01:12, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- In that case, you need to tag it as a hoax with {{db-hoax}} and place any evidence you have on the talk page. Please do not simply blank a page. Redfarmer (talk) 01:14, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
I know it's not real due to the fact of
- I've been a fan for many years, and own EVERY TTTE video/dvd, and this has never appeared ANYWHERE.
- There were NO sources/proof for it's existance.
- It hasn't even been mentioned in an interview or anything.
- Remeber the whole "TATMR: Thomas's first ever MOVIE!" thing?
Skeletal_SLJCOAAATR_Soul_Striker_of_Vengence (talk) 01:18, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
I didn't know of those. When i see an article for something that doesn't exist, i blank the page, and erase all links to it from other articles. Skeletal_SLJCOAAATR_Soul_Striker_of_Vengence (talk) 01:22, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
I'll see what i can do. -.- Skeletal_SLJCOAAATR_Soul_Striker_of_Vengence (talk) 01:26, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

The revision I made to [Adobe Flash] was because the sentence was, 1) Not a very good sentence, and 2) Contained opinion not backed up with any references; essentially a PoV. If there was some other reason for your reversion to my reversion, please do tell me. Thanks, Johnman239 <3 (talk) 15:11, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

re:deleted posts
Your right i have no credible sources to back up my article just a bundle of self published comics to that effect, some sketchs and a portfolio based on the group and therefore i give up and shalll leave it alone but i never had the intention of vandalism nor hoax just humour based on real experincces iv had in my home of Baltimore, all the charecters are real people all the adventures were based on true events and so i am content with that. thank you for you time —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mester skuzzz (talk • contribs) 15:30, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
thank you
thank you thats nice of you to say, and i fully understand the position you in to begin with and so i shall try and put some sources together instead and if i rewrite the article i shall make it clear it is based around fiction inspired by truth, so as to stay within the proper boundries. does this mean the comics count as a secondary source15:46, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Mester Skuzzz

i dont understand why it is vandalism?
The subject is known cases...he is a known case and he will confirm that it is viable..therefore true therefore not vandalism and it causes me distress not being able to edit it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.23.146.39 (talk) 16:58, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Orson_Welles thoughts
Redfarmer, what do you think of this diff? Not sure what to make of this IP user who is making a lot of edits. I asked you as a fellow RCP, and I noticed that you are online. :) It looks constructive, but there is removal of information which is a bit concerning. I posted to their talk page with no reply... Your thoughts? Tiggerjay (talk) 18:26, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- Brilliant, works for me. :) I'll check back in a hour or so and hopefully they'll be done with their mass editings. :) Tiggerjay (talk) 18:35, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

ArrayComm
Hi Redfarmer - I'd be interested to know why you've tagged this page as an advertisement. I modeled it almost entirely on Intel's page, which I notice hasn't received that tag. Originally, the Jargon-free version was the only one tagged as an advert, which I thought could have been misunderstood - so I changed it. But now it appears you've tagged the entire article. Maxxthewolf (talk) 23:07, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Hi Redfarmer - so in the Jargon-free section, I'm attempting to explain to a non-technical audience what is actually a fairly complicated technical process, by describing a common scenario that most people are familiar with ie. hearing and listening. At the same time, there is a need to tie it into what the company actually does, which is why I've used the "this is what the software does" argument. If you have an alternate suggestion for how this could be re-written as well as which specific reference sounds like an ad, I'll be happy to amend it accordingly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Maxxthewolf (talk • contribs) 00:42, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

You should warn people on your article about "The Happening". I read your plot summary and had the premise given to me when I didn't wish to know. You should at least label the spoiler. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Coholt6676 (talk • contribs) 18:00, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

about the change I made to exile to Babylon part
Hi Redfarmer
you recently said an edit I made to a page was unconstructive, can you please Justify that decision
I look forward to hearing from you
see the link I posted about it
I study when the exile occurred as it has a role in Bible prophesy, nothing on your userpage indicates an interest in the bible, in fact you appear to be an atheist
look forward to hearing from you Chris

Biblical account of exiles The book of Daniel records a deportation of Judaean nobility that occurred in 607 BC, in the reign of Jehoiakim (Daniel 1:1-6; cf. 2 Chronicles 36:6-7). The Book of Jeremiah (Jeremiah 52:28-30) notes three deportations: The first was in the time of Jehoiachin, in 597 BC, when the Temple of Jerusalem was partially despoiled and a number of the leading citizens were removed (2 Kings 24:10-16). After eleven years, in 586 BC, in the reign of Zedekiah, a fresh uprising of the Judaeans occurred. The city and temple of Jerusalem was razed and a further deportation ensued (2 Kings 25:1-21). Finally, five years thereafter, in 581 BC, Jeremiah records a third deportation (Jeremiah 52:30).

This article appears to be a direct copy of http://www.whitehouse.gov/government/eisner-bio.html. I initially tagged it for speedy, but that doesn't seem fair as this text may be in the public domain as it is published by the U.S. Government. Can you confirm that? BradV 19:29, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Um.. you wrote that the AFC was declined because the article already exists. Can you tell me what its name is, so I can start using it? I've searched quite a bit and been unable to find anything appropriate. Thanks! 71.41.210.146 (talk) 02:33, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
URL in sources section of Martinu Quartet submission
the URL had an unnecessary trailing slash which seems to have confused your browser, I have removed the trailing slash and the link should work for you now. Also, you can use Google Translations for translating the Czech content (that's what I used as I don't speak/read Czech myself), the output is not exactly Shakespeare but it is intelligible. 61.122.67.57 (talk) 17:13, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

Sorry that the article wasn't promoted in the end, but you should certainly try again in a few weeks/months and regularly check for copyedit possibilities. The potential is definitively there. – sgeureka t•c 05:09, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Astrid Bonfield Bio Decline
Reason stated was no explanation of importance of subject. Sorry for not being explicit, but I took it as read. The subject is the CEO of a substantial and well known charitable organisation and is often quoted in the media in that context: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&as_q=%22astrid+bonfield%22&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&num=100&lr=&as_filetype=&ft=i&as_sitesearch=&as_qdr=all&as_rights=&as_occt=any&cr=&as_nlo=&as_nhi=&safe=images
She's even referenced in Wikipedia's page on the Fund: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diana,_Princess_of_Wales_Memorial_Fund

Welcome back to the States. I think the article is really looking good. The peer review brought in some good copyedit suggestions, which I've taken care of. Several of the other suggestions I didn't agree with, but that's more your department than mine. --AnnaFrance (talk) 21:57, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Redfarmer... so good to see you again. (well i can't really see you.)
Do you wonder who i am?
Do you recall a user called Leonhart (178 i think it was, and NO NOT THE STAR SPOOF DUDE!!!! Everyone relates me to that toad!).
Anyway, Leonhart was wrongfully banned from Wikipedia... But i told you, i told you that i would return. and here i am. Leonhart is reborn with a new username Zbeeblebrox278.
Thank you for your time in reading this message.
Oh yes and do tell your friend Edgar181 that i got out of his banning.
