[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Peter L. Harrison, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 20:04, 23 August 2022 (UTC)
- I originally created the page and only moved it because Peter Harrison himself asked me to rename the page. I am new to Wikipedia and do not know how to rename pages i created so I tried to do this in order to rename it Red Emperor329 (talk) 03:17, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
The article Adam Smith (marine biologist) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Not enough in-depth coverage to pass WP:GNG, and does not meet WP:NACADEMIC.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Onel5969 TT me 10:53, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
