"Hates"? I can see hating souped up quad ATVs tearing the path, mowing down birdwatchers, kids, and geese, but hating joggers? It makes Wakefield residents sound like grumpy xenophobes without something positive to say about their town. Too bad pride of place doesn't exist in this statement. Bummer. From the creator: I have rewritten this part. Indeed, it was a bit harsh, I can see, but it was there all in good humor and was never intended to offend. As a part-time Wakefieldian myself I should be presenting as idyllic a portrait as possible, and I hope the rewriting is somewhat of an improvement. If you can think of anything better, please let me know.
