- The major challenge here is actually WP:NOT -- it has info that is not appropriate for Wikipedia (it's a bummer, but this info about how to apply and such should not be here, despite the good cause). You'd have to make yourself an expert (very quickly) and (very carefully) work with the editor who produced much of this content to make sure that it is a Wikipedia appropriate article.
- 2004 Kumbakonam School fire
- The issue here is the amount of information here. This is a kind of Wikipedia TMI that requires, again, a careful consideration of WP:NOT. You'd have to dig in here and think about what is necessary while also handling, in a Wikipedia appropriate and friendly way, the editors that have worked on this material.
- Tea in the United Kingdom
- You've really found some challenging ones...This one needs a lot of really careful help and bold editing both for WP:NOT issues, organization, and style. There are some recent editors so you are likely to get someone else coming in to help. The issue is that people are likely to be suspicious of the extensive rewriting that is needed here and you'd have to be very careful and communicative about it. I'd do this in a sandbox, start with thinking about the headings, then dig carefully into this sentence-by-sentence. "Tone and repetition" is hiding a need for extensive and careful changes. But you could do it....
- Larry Bright
- Ah, I've seen serial killer articles before. They are weird because they also have this problem of TMI in a way that is strange for Wikipedia (how does it work for WP:Notability? I think let's avoid this one since I think that this is even hard to navigate than the others on this front and the citations are really thin (If you start reworking stuff this could be a problem).
- College Scholastic Ability Test
- You've really found a bunch of articles with WP:NOT problems! This one has a bunch of inappropriate information!! Same challenges as the previous ones...but someone needs to do it...
- Hurricane Luis
- This one is too long. Let's avoid.
I think that you went after ones that appeared to just need copyediting, but this need for copyediting is too small for what we want to do here (we want to transform stalled articles, not just fix typoes). But then each of these articles has issues that are both conceptually difficult and related to the writing. They all will require you to interface carefully with the existing editors and to get to know the rules and parameters here very quickly. I'll put the ones that are ok in the WikiEdu dash. You can select one from there. If you don't feel comfortable with them, then you could also wait to see what's left on Monday. Etherfire (talk) 23:49, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
