Your GA nomination of The Woman Next Door (novel)
The article The Woman Next Door (novel) you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:The Woman Next Door (novel) for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article. Message delivered by ChristieBot, on behalf of LEvalyn -- LEvalyn (talk) 05:23, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
Oghenedoh
Could you help me get this guy blocked? Trade (talk) 12:32, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- Sadly, no. I can’t block anyone but there are checkusers who watch my page and would probably look into it. I’d endorse if I was a clerk though. Best, Reading Beans 15:14, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- Think there is a case to nominate Gong News for deletion? At least the two last references doesn't seen to establish notability Trade (talk) 11:38, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
- G5 is the fastest way of getting rid of these kind of articles, let’s wait till it pans out. Best, Reading Beans 17:36, 2 July 2024 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about Joseph James Nantomah
Hello Reading Beans, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Joseph James Nantomah, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Joseph James Nantomah.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|BrigadierG}}
. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Wikiproject
Hi, I see you've contributed a lot to Igbo literature, would you be interested in joining a wikiproject on oral tradition? Kowal2701 (talk) 17:52, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Kowal2701, I’m sorry but I won’t be able to join at this time due to my schedule. Maybe, as days pass by, I could consider. Best, Reading Beans 01:37, 26 July 2024 (UTC)

I appreciate that reading through the Srebrenica Genocide was very time consuming and more tedious than most RMs, but rather than simply wait some amount of time "until due" to try and resolve the situation, it is probably time to escalate to WP:MR, because this merits as much attention as highly contentious article titles such as Gaza genocide. To that end I would like to have seen a much more robust rationale rationale for closure. What was the tally of votes for and against that you arrived at, and what did you assess was the strength and weakness of arguments on each side? 122141510 (talk) 01:12, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
- You see, both parties !voted based on COMMONNAME but none weighed more than the other as you would agree with me. There was simply no consensus to move. You could initiate a MR. I have no prejudice. Best, Reading Beans 01:32, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
- Best to you as well! I do not blame you as such, rather this is a lapse in oversight and project accountability that is over a decade in the making. I remember at some point thinking if 3 members (at least 2 admins) could take the time to post a clear rationale and explain according to policy why a highly contentious dispute about the presence or absence of a middle name in an article about an politician resolves the way it does and put that argument to rest, and endorse as such, that at some point an article about a genocide(!) might deserve the same level of attention. 122141510 (talk) 04:05, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
- Forgot to explicitly mention that that move review is now live. I am obliged to properly provide you the link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Move_review/Log/2024_July#Srebrenica_massacre --122141510 (talk) 05:06, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
- All the best! Reading Beans 06:03, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
The article Occult Grandmaster Now in Christ has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unremarkable novel.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Counterfeit Purses (talk) 21:34, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
