Hook
Hi Ravenpuff: When you changed this hook, I think you changed its original meaning. Looking at the article, the point wasn't that he didn't know that they'd previously had a team, it was that before the year he was hired, he didn't even know that the team existed. Would you mind revisiting your change? MeegsC (talk) 19:03, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- @MeegsC: To clarify, did you think that the resulting change in meaning was in Milliman's knowing that they had a team versus knowing that the team existed? The edit I made to the hook was from
not knowing they even had a team prior to that year
tobeing unaware that they had previously had a team
– neither of which talks about Milliman knowing of the team's existence. I think the only possible loss of precision there might be between "prior to that year" and "previously", but this still seems to be an accurate statement of the fact. The article also hasPrior to this, he had been unaware Russia had a lacrosse team
, which appears to me to simply be a rewording of my revision to the hook. Thanks. — RAVENPVFF · talk · 21:39, 31 March 2021 (UTC)- I agree with MeegsC that your edit drastically changed the meaning of the hook. Nevertheless, the original hook was awkwardly expressed, and as I moved the set into the queue, I changed it to "... that Peter Milliman coached Team Russia at the 2014 World Lacrosse Championship despite not knowing previously that they even had a team?" - Cwmhiraeth, I think it might be even stronger if we said ""... that Peter Milliman coached Team Russia at the 2014 World Lacrosse Championship despite not knowing until that year that they even had a team?" MeegsC (talk) 08:44, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, that is better, and I have made the change. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:09, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Cwmhiraeth and MeegsC: I'm fine with this change – thanks. — RAVENPVFF · talk · 09:16, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

Would you close the page navigation discussion?
First of all, thank you for moving the page! However, I could not judge whether there was consensus due to lack of experience. Especially I find it difficult to close the discussion myself because of the I'm page move proposer.
