Nationality of a composer

[edit]

Hi @Patrug:

I am facing a problem when trying to classify Mr Massimiliano Neri.
The German say he was Italian and the Italian say he was German.
How to decide in such case ? --Randushkesh (talk) 08:19, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
If the Italians & Germans don't want him, maybe he wasn't very good! But based on the overwhelming portion of his life & work & family, I think it will be safe to include him in the "list of composers from Italy" if he ever gets an article in English Wikipedia. —Patrug (talk) 06:51, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Patrug: Thank you.
What do you think about translating his article from German to English ? --Randushkesh (talk) 07:13, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
If you have time, it's probably better to start with a computer translation of his Italian article, since it seems much more complete than the German. —Patrug (talk) 07:23, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Patrug: OK, thanks. I will give it a try ... --Randushkesh (talk) 07:27, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of German composers, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Schumann. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
