Do you have a source for this image? If not, it will have to be deleted soon. Zach (Sound Off) 20:55, 28 September 2005 (UTC)
REMO
[edit]Strange a company with lengthy history and reputation like Remo wouldn't have a decent industry page to represent them. I, personally, have used Evans drumheads for years. They don't have a wiki-page at all. Aquarian doesn't either and they are a respected company as well with many users. All three companies have very detailed info about their history, technology and artists on their official webpages. The tech side of drumming is something I haven't browsed through too much. Your Remo page should open up a new series of Wiki pages dedicated to the hardware side of drumming. Mr Pyles 23:19, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Image Tagging Image:Moolib01sm.jpg
[edit]This media may be deleted.
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Moolib01sm.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -- Krash (Talk) 13:26, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
Optomagnetic Levitation
[edit]Regarding the Plasmagnetic Levitation article, I can't seem to find any real references on this (technical papers, etc) outside of the HoverTech company's website. Do you have any such info? If not, I'm going to nominate the article for deletion or merging with HoverTech. Thanks! Wikipedia brown 00:03, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
George W. Bush
[edit]Thank you for experimenting with the page George W. Bush on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.--JForget 02:09, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
No problem with that, I don't like him at all and I agree with the edit you've made even if I had to revert it anyways. --JForget 02:50, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
Your talk and user pages
[edit]I'm not sure why you moved your user page and talk page, but I've moved them back. It makes it harder to track you down when you do things like this, which I hope won't happen again.--Kchase T 03:27, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Userboxes
[edit]Hello! I'm Microchip08. I've noticed that your userboxes are filling up the page, and if you want, I will change it to a collapsing box so that it doesn't pull the page. Just type {{User:microchip08/RandomUBX}} instead of your userboxes.
You can edit your userboxes at one of my subpages.
Jack Kerouac
[edit]Responded to your message on Talk:Jack Kerouac. Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! —Viriditas | Talk 02:00, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Non-free use disputed for Image:Mmlogo-small.jpg
[edit]This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Mmlogo-small.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:12, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Copyright problems with File:Surbahar.jpg
[edit]If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License (CC-BY-SA) then you should do one of the following:
- If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at File talk:Surbahar.jpg and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) and CC-BY-SA, under CC-BY-SA, or released into the public domain leave a note at File talk:Surbahar.jpg with a link to where we can find that note.
- If you hold the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the CC-BY-SA and GFDL, and note that you have done so on File talk:Surbahar.jpg.
However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Thank you. Hekerui (talk) 22:47, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Jonathan Sass
[edit]The article Jonathan Sass has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Article appears to be a WP:MUSICBIO fail, and reads as vague promotional.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 12:29, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
