Hello Rambo. I have placed BBC Sports Personality of the Year on Featured Topic Removal. GamerPro64 (talk) 19:33, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- Your objection is moot. See page for reason. Rambo's Revenge (talk) 19:38, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- I looked at the criteria again and you are right. I will now ask for a withdrawal. GamerPro64 (talk) 19:42, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- To be honest as no-one else but me and you participated I'll just undo the nomination and delete the page, unless you object. Rambo's Revenge (talk) 19:44, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- I don't object. Delete the page. GamerPro64 (talk) 19:46, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- Done Rambo's Revenge (talk) 19:50, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- Any objections to the topic should probably be listed/copied at least on the talk page of the topic for future reference. Nergaal (talk) 00:25, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
- The objection was due to a misunderstanding of the criteria (an audited article not being featured). I put this on the talk page which, hopefully, clarifies things. Rambo's Revenge (talk) 22:08, 20 September 2010 (UTC)

Hello Rambo's Revenge, I just create this and was wondering your thoughts! I am going to be taking a sabbatical for about 30 to 60 days from this here place again! Peace be to you all, and to all a good day and night!BLUEDOGTN 03:13, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
this information is cannot find out on internet. i will be appear on later. user: Ramya20 is sock puppet of Hudson Samarasinghe . Wife of Premakeerthi Has a suspicion about Hudson Samarasinghe and I already read the book PREMKEERTHINI in Language of Sinhalese. why do you say that Facebook information is not enough ? could you please provide reliable things for that ? --Wipeouting (talk) 18:06, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- You cannot WP:SPECULATE what will or will not appear later. As for Facebook, it is not a reliable source (and this is the section that says so). Anyone can publish a book too, so make sure the publisher is reliable and, if it is, use
{{Cite book}}
so people can verify the information. As for the sock-puppet claims, if you have evidence and are not just speculating feel free to open a discussion at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations. Rambo's Revenge (talk) 18:18, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
Multiple FLCs
S'ok, I think you pass the sanity check...! But thanks for the note. The Rambling Man (talk) 19:21, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
Amsterdam Tournament
Hello. You make a valid point. I'll add it to the end of the lead that the 2010 edition didn't take place due to Ajax's involvement in the Champions League qualifying rounds. I'll double check if there is a reliable source stating it too. By the way, nice talkpage. Cheers. Argyle 4 Lifetalk 20:48, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for spotting and fixing the broken templates. I had not noticed the absence of the missing two characters. I'll be careful about this in the future. Finetooth (talk) 14:28, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
Tip of the iceberg
Hi I have contacted you because you had some input on the RfD on either "Sierra Vista-Douglas, AZ µSA" or "Connersville, IN µSA". As there is more than one of you I thought I'd try and keep discussion centralised here. Basically, I did some digging and found this is just the tip of the iceberg. I'm not to familiar with the RfD process and am just asking if I would really have to input each with {{rfd2m}}
and does anyone know of an easier way to nominate all these (not sure what the opinion would be for using the others as precedent and just blitzing them straight off). Input welcomed on this matter, Rambo's Revenge (talk) 11:33, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, dear... and I thought I'd already gotten all of it. Obviously not.
- Well, let's see. We can't just speedy them based on precedent, despite how convenient that would be. So that's out. If we do make a mass-nomination, it shouldn't be too hard. The nomination will need to list all the redirects affected, and the affected redirects will all need to be tagged. The tagging can be semi-automated using AWB after we have everything together. The deletion rationale seems pretty sound - implausible search term (µSA means "micropolitan statistical area", but the Greek letter makes it implausible), but not recent enough to be speedied. The two previous nominations were both deleted, so there's that precedent.
- So in short, it's going to be a bit of preparation work, but it's nothing we can't sandbox and then do. Why don't we do the sandbox work at User:SchuminWeb/MFD sandbox? SchuminWeb (Talk) 14:15, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
- I made a start. User:Rambo's Revenge/RfD is all those User:Buaidh (in that sitting) made and then by looking into Special:Undelete/Sierra_Vista-Douglas, AZ µSA it appears User:Polbot generated the alternative mu version for each (log). Rambo's Revenge (talk) 15:31, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
- Okay I made the first list off User:Buaidh's contribs then instead of scanning through Polbot's contribs I did a find and replace with the other mu and added them together to give this. Rambo's Revenge (talk) 15:37, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
- You rock! That was the hardest part of it all (accumulating it), and then I'll mass-nominate them all when I get home tonight. SchuminWeb (Talk) 15:44, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
- After some researching, I happen to come across a relevant RFD and this explanation by Buaidh for creating the redirects, which should be taken into consideration. — ξxplicit 15:48, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
- Indeed, I knew it was micropolitan statistical area (mentioned above), but I still think it's an implausible search term for the English Wikipedia due to the Greek character. Additionally, the relevant RFD in that case was a withdraw, which is less than convincing. The later RFDs both ended in deletes, so it's probably not a bad idea to get a verdict on the lot of them.
