Information icon Hello, I'm Theroadislong. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Krishna, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, RadhaKrishna Das, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits has not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome.  Theroadislong (talk) 19:29, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 19:37, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Krishna. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. NeilN talk to me 19:56, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Krishna, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 20:01, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 20:01, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A few tips

[edit]
  • When posting on a article or user talkpage, sign your posts by appending four tildas ~~~~ as the end
  • When continuing a previous discussion on a talkpage, you don't need to start a new section each time. See WP:TPG for more details.
  • Using alternate accounts, or editing while logged out, is not a good idea if used to continue edit-warring or disruptive editing. If 117.199.121.233 (talk · contribs) is indeed you, please avoid doing so again and see WP:SOCK.
  • A basic tenet o wikipedia is that everyone's edits are liable to be reverted and/or reworked. When that happens, and you disagree with the result, it is best to discuss the issue on the user/article talk page (as you are doing, for the most part), and not get too worked up about the issue or assume that others are acting in bad faith either due to their presumed religion, or because they are lying about their true motivation. Please try to assume good faith, and you'll find your experience on wikipedia more pleasant and productive.
