Hi REETO25. I notice that you have been making or changing a lot of links; i think you'll find that links such as some of those you have been adding (to celebrity or marital separation, for example) are unnecessary, and some you have been modifying (such as atheist changed to atheism or Christian changed to Christianity) are discouraged as also unnecessary (the previous link ~ atheist, for example ~ already ended up at atheism, with no extra work by the reader, as it went to a redirect). May i suggest you take a look at WP:LINK, which may offer you some information you'll find helpful. I know it can be annoying to see your work undone, and i see that some other of what you have done has been, so please don't take it amiss if and when such additions/changes as i have highlighted are changed back. If i can help in any way, please ask ~ here or at my talk page. Happy days ~ LindsayHello 12:17, 26 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm MichaelMaggs. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Yeovil, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. MichaelMaggs (talk) 07:57, 25 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm SNUGGUMS. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Keanu Reeves, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. See WP:OVERLINKING - FlightTime Phone (open channel) 16:03, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Elis James, you may be blocked from editing. Lord Belbury (talk) 17:02, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Brad Garrett, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Please review WP:OVERLINKING and WP:PEACOCK - FlightTime (open channel) 19:05, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I came here to second what FlightTime wrote above. Please review WP:OVERLINK -- common terms that readers of the article will most likely already be familiar with, such as "United States" in an article about an American actor, should generally not be wikilinked. This is to avoid overwhelming readers with a sea of links. Thank you. Aoi (青い) (talk) 23:12, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Brendan Fraser, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Clerks III, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Spirit. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:06, 9 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm S0091. I noticed that you recently removed content from Giovanni Ribisi without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Katie Hopkins, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. The recent edit you made to Lyric Theatre, London, did not appear to be constructive, as you offered no citation to a WP:Reliable source, and the info you added to the Lead section of the article was in violation of WP:LEAD, as it was not mentioned in the body of the article. Please make sure that all new facts added to this encyclopedia are cited to verifiable, reliable sources. See WP:V for more information. Thank you. -- Ssilvers (talk) 23:12, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

[edit]

Many of your edits have been reverted and that is wasting a lot of time for other editors. Many people have commented on this talk page but there has been no response. Wikipedia requires collaboration and contributors must be able to engage with other editors. For example, why did you make this edit? I am afraid that a block will be required if you continue to make unexplained and unsourced edits. Johnuniq (talk) 23:39, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button.

Many of the edits you make seem to replace major works by minor ones, or to assert medical histories of living people using borderline reliable sources. We have already explained that checking these edits wastes other editors' time. They are likely to be reverted unless you start explaining why they improve the article. Block from editing articles notice - "WP:OVERLINKING"

[edit]

Hi REETO25,

I have blocked you from editing Wikipedia's articles.

This is because you have continued to ignore messages on your talkpage - what you are reading right now - about "WP:OVERLINKING"

It is quite understandable that you might feel that your contributions may improve the English language Wikipedia. Unfortunately, this is not the case with your continued "overlinking".

To be unblocked

  • please say that you have read WP:OVERLINKING
  • please say that you have understood it
  • please confirm that you won't continue to WP:OVERLINK

That said, any WP:ADMIN at their discretion may overturn this partial block as they fit.

REETO25, I would also strongly advise you to read this.
