After I think it is safe to say that there will be no more discussion on a topic, I usually remove most of the threads content, so you can find more relevant chats. I only do this when the chat has been stale for month(s) with no disagreement between both sides, it was delivered by a bot or is of no use to anyone but me (vote for arbitration committee etc.)

DYK for White wagtail

[edit]

On 18 January 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article White wagtail, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the white wagtail is the national bird of Latvia? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/White wagtail. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, White wagtail), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

The Slater Museum of Natural History

[edit]

The lack of any reliable, verifiable, independent sources means that your article The Slater Museum of Natural History may be deleted. An article sourced only by the subject's own website & a listing looks like you're trying to damn them with faint praise. Cabayi (talk) 12:37, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

While blanking old topics on your own talk page is OK, it's preferable to archive them. Hope that helps, Cabayi (talk) 12:40, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I couldn't find anything else. Can it be deleted, since I cannot find any better sources? Qwerty number1 (talk) 12:45, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It ought to be notable. I've tagged it for the relevant projects. Let's see if they come up with anything. Cabayi (talk) 12:55, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thx! Qwerty number1 (talk) 12:56, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Since I have the page on my watchlist I saw your recent changes. There's nothing wrong with changing the name to gluseum - though there's no benefit either. You just need to remember to close your tags..
<ref name=gluseum>{{cite web...}}</ref>
on the first use, where you define the ref, you need a </ref> to balance the <ref>, and
<ref name=gluseum />
(with a slash before the closing bracket, which cancels the need for a closing tag) where you reuse it. Hope that helps, Cabayi (talk) 15:40, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

Inactive peer review volunteer

[edit]

Hi Qwerty number1, you're receiving this message because you were previously listed at the list of volunteers for Wikipedia's peer review process, but you haven't made any edits to the English Wikipedia in over 1 year.

Because of your inactivity, you have been removed from the volunteers list, so that the list is kept up to date and editors who do need help can better find active editors. If you become active again and would like to add yourself to the volunteers list again, you can do so at any time by visiting the volunteers list.

Thank you for volunteering to be on the list previously, and all the best on your WikiVoyages! Message delivered to you with love by Yapperbot :) | Is this wrong? Contact my bot operator. | Sent at 18:02, 12 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
