RedWarn
[edit]I was wondering if you'd like to beta test my new tool, RedWarn, designed for the quickest vandalism reverts in the west (yee-haw!). If you're interested, check out the project page at WP:REDWARN, otherwise, feel free to remove this message from your talk page. JamesHSmith6789 (talk) 10:21, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
Trivium
[edit]Hello, first of all, I just bring back the things that were good. Secondly, no need to add their style into summary when we literally have that section, it is called "Musical style". And thirdly, no need to add links to the awards, most of the band pages do not have the links and everyone knows what those awards are. --Tobi999tomas (talk) 17:25, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
- Think about it again, the links to the awards will be useful, true. But the summary about the genre is still unnecessary. --Tobi999tomas (talk) 17:45, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
- Many thanks for the response; I've responded on the article talk page so other editors can give their opinions. Please use that page for further discussion. Quuxbazbarfoo (talk) 18:05, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 30
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Khawaja Junaid, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page PHF. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's funny, earlier today I was thinking about how I should add the animated cover to the article. I then noticed your Thank for my older edits and that motivated me to actually do it. Merry Christmas~! ~Sıgehelmus♗(Tøk) 17:53, 27 December 2023 (UTC) |
- Haha, a moment of serendipity :) The topic came up in conversation between some friends and I earlier today, and we loved the lead sentence to the article! Very nicely done. I was surprised to find the edit was so recent; had our conversation been two weeks earlier we would have missed it!
- It put such a smile on my face--it's inspired me to be a bit more aware of how language itself can be used when writing/editing articles, rather than solely focusing on content. Merry Christmas :) Quuxbazbarfoo (talk) 01:19, 28 December 2023 (UTC)

"Andrew Gower (programmer)" listed at Redirects for discussion
[edit]The redirect Andrew Gower (programmer) has been listed at redirects for discussion to determine whether its use and function meets the redirect guidelines. Anyone, including you, is welcome to comment on this redirect at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2024 November 25 § Andrew Gower (programmer) until a consensus is reached. — Hubcapp (talk) 19:46, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
How would you create an article about Andrew Gower?
[edit]I noticed on your user page that you listed "Andrew Gower" under the section "Potential articles to write". I'm not sure if you're aware, but this is currently not possible, due to an Articles for Deletion decision reached in 2021 regarding Wikipedia:Notability and a lack of in-depth biographical sources. If you believe it is now possible to overcome this issue, your input on Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Video_games#Re-evaluating_Andrew_Gower_(programmer)_as_a_redirect would be much appreciated. Thanks, — Hubcapp (talk) 01:59, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Hubcapp:, cheers for the ping. I wasn't aware of the prior AfD (I hadn't put much thought into the article, just a vague notion that I thought he may be suitable for one). I've left a comment with my thoughts and some sources I've found. I'd be happy to write the first draft of the article if that is the result of the discussion.
