Edmonton–Drumheller train moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Edmonton–Drumheller train, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited North America, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Buddhism in the Americas and Judaism in North America. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:55, 18 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Canada–United States border map

[edit]

Your addition of the Bar Harbor–Yarmouth ferry to the Canada–United States border map template also meant the addition of a new province on the Canadian side: Yarmouth is in Nova Scotia. Grand Manan, however, is in New Brunswick. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Punkboy3401 (talkcontribs) 19:28, 25 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, QuincyMorgan

Thank you for creating Cassiar Cannery station.

User:North8000, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Good start. Possibly better handled as a section in the rail line article but I marked it as reviewed. The immense significance of the line, the significance of individual stations in that area that it is in as well as it's significant related geographic info makes it much more likely to be wp:notable than a typical rail station article. Happy editing!

A tag has been placed on Category:Templates for railway lines in Algeria indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Completely unreferenced and thus has no business being in mainspace. Please reference all material in the article before publishing. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 12:46, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I didn't write this article but broke it out from the monstrous List of ecoregions in North America (CEC). I was able to rescue the references intended for this content. QuincyMorgan (talk) 03:11, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Laredo station moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Laredo station, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Gulf Coast Limited restored service name clarification

[edit]

Greetings, Quincy. Thank you so much for all the work that you do curating Amtrak's history. It's invaluable and I've referenced so many of these pages in my research. I am currently employed at Amtrak and wanted to provide a slight context update for the Gulf_Coast_Limited page:

"Gulf Coast" is merely a placeholder title for the upcoming restored service as the various stakeholders continue to research and discuss an official name, so perhaps that should be noted. With any luck, an official name should be announced in the coming weeks. MattInTraining (talk) 14:00, 12 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Matt, I'm glad you've found my work useful. Thanks for the tip, I clarified the name on the page and look forward to learning the final name! Feel free to contact me with any other questions or info you may have. (There are more ways to contact me listed on my OpenStreetMap page.) QuincyMorgan (talk) 18:15, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
