[edit]Hello, I'm AntiDionysius. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Rosa 'Ingrid Bergman', but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. AntiDionysius (talk) 19:57, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
- I am an attorney at the law firm representing Poulsen Roser, the owner of this Rose Variety. I have made changes to accurately reflect the rose's name and information. More information and photos of the Ingrid Bergman variety can be found on Poulsen Roser’s website (https://www.poulsenroser.dk/en/Roses/ShowProduct/1). Please revert the page back to my edits. - Aside from the fact that your edits were unsourced and that you have a conflict of interest here, I'm not going to restore your edits because they were a violation of the Wikipedia Manual of Style; we don't include trademark symbols in articles like that. - Our edits are sourced from the breeder of this variety, and we have included a hyperlink to the relevant page of Poulsen Roser’s website. We have disclosed our representation of Poulsen Roser and thereby addressed Wikipedia’s conflict of interest requirements. It is essential that the trademarks for these varieties be specifically identified, as otherwise they may be interpreted as generic variety denominations or otherwise deemed non-proprietary terms. Since numerous other Wikipedia entries are replete with trademark symbols, this should not present an issue. Plant breeders must police the identification of their varieties on resources like this one to protect their valuable intellectual property rights. I have completed the necessary steps listed in the "Paid Editing" link that you provided. QQ Wang Qksss 21:05, 24 January 2024 (UTC)

Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Rosa 'Ingrid Bergman'. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. —a smart kitten[meow] 03:14, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- In addition, as you have a conflict of interest regarding this article, I'd recommend that you propose changes on the talk page of the article rather than editing the article directly, per WP:COIEDIT. Best, —a smart kitten[meow] 03:17, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
