- I feel your response to (For example "breathtaking natural surroundings, this luxurious hotel exudes elegance and tranquility in every aspect." is just ridiculous!
- And is very unhelpful and belittling. Q-conner (talk) 10:36, 20 June 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Paid editing
[edit] As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Q-conner, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Q-conner|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Theroadislong (talk) 10:55, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
- I was a guest and have no financial stake in promoting this topic. Q-conner (talk) 11:03, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
- You have written your draft as if it were a TripAdvisor entry about a hotel. Its encyclopaedic interest is as a historic building, not modern accommodation. The article should focus on the original ownership, architectural design, and any protected status it has as a Listed Building. We could not care less whether it's a lovely hotel nowadays - that should just be a small section at the end of the article about its modern usage. You need to do your historic research and write your draft based upon that, not upon your own guesswork. At the moment it comes across as either paid editing or a fan page, and is nowhere near being of encyclopaedic quality about a historic building. See WP:NBUILDING for guidance on notability criteria for historic buildings. Nick Moyes (talk) 12:14, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
