James Charles

[edit]

Unfortunately you are not allowed to change the birthdate of James Charles because a reliable source has to be cited. As u probably know Wikipedia is very strict to changes of Living or recently deceased people. Flash Lloyd (talk) 15:13, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Can't Tame Her

[edit]

Hello. Please do not alter quoted material, as you did at Can't Tame Her by putting single quotation marks around song titles. Secondly, Epic Records seems for all intents and purposes to be Larsson's distributor now, as she owns her own masters and has her own label. Since that seems to be the case, we don't put distributors in the Template:Infobox song#label parameter. Ss112 06:38, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not cite unofficial Twitter accounts like Pop Crave either directly or blogs that use it as a source, as you've just done at Can't Tame Her. See WP:TWITTER. Wait until the video's actually out, I'm sure there'll be far better sources. Thank you. Ss112 02:45, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Do you think if you add genres to an article I'm actively working on and created that I won't check the sources? If you continue to add unsourced genres to Can't Tame Her and claim that citations say the song is those genres when the citations very clearly do not say that, I will inform an administrator. Enough is enough. None of the sources you added call it synth-pop or dance-pop, stop lying. Ss112 23:24, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Do you not know how to use ref names? The whole point means you don't have to repeat the citation. You repeated the Billboard and NME citations multiple times. After defining the citation, all you have to do is type <ref name=NME/> after. Ss112 23:31, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Please don't waste your time writing a huge unsourced video synopsis. Considering you've proven you'll attribute genres to sources that do not say them, I don't trust you to write a decent plot summary either, and that summary would give WP:UNDUE weight in one section over another. Ss112 23:34, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

January 2023: Do not claim sources discuss genres when they don't

[edit]

Information icon Hello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Can't Tame Her, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and/or verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Ss112 23:24, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

May 2023: Please use edit summaries to explain your edits, and don't delete information without explanation

[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to End of Time (Zara Larsson song) did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! Ss112 02:46, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
