Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page The Slickee Boys has been reverted. Your edit here to The Slickee Boys was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (https://www.discogs.com/The-Afrika-Korps-Music-To-Kill-By/release/2060861) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 00:57, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, would it be possible to get more clarity about how the references used in the article don't qualify? I thought that the article was generally centered around multiple references to articles specifically about this group in reliable secondary sources like the Washington Post, Washington City Paper, and Trouser Press. If you could elaborate on the references you felt were disqualifying, that might help me clean up whatever needed to be done to move the article along and/or explain how I felt that items referenced were suitable for use in a Wikipedia article.
In this article, I know that there are some references to archival materials in institutional repositories like the DC Public Library and the University of Maryland, which are used to corroborate dates and event lineups which, I would presume, would be reasonable for inclusion, but if you can explain how it does not work, that would help.
Also regarding notability, per my understanding of Wikipedia's guidelines on the notability of music-related topics, Holy Rollers would qualify by dint of releasing three albums on Dischord Records, an objectively significant and influential indie label with a more than forty-year history that released music by Fugazi, Minor Threat, Rites of Spring, and other notable groups. Thanks for your help with this. Pvdc20 (talk) 18:49, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by DoubleGrazing was:
This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:
in-depth (not just passing mentions about the subject)
Make sure you add references that meet these criteria before resubmitting. Learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
I struggle to see how a zine with only one issue and 150 circ could be notable, but be that as it may, the sources certainly don't seem anywhere near sufficient to establish notability per WP:GNG.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Fake (zine) and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.
