[edit]1. I presume you mean Wikipedia:WikiProject Trains/Members. You need to go and edit the "P" section at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Trains/Members#P. You just add your username there, there is little computerese but the basic wiki syntax. If that is still too much code, I strongly suggest you take a look at WP:TUTORIAL.
2. I certainly agree Wiki is not as friendly as it could be. Wikipedia:WikiProject Trains/Assessment and similar assessments are done by adding a template to the talk page and filling in relevant parameters. You just copy and paste this code: {{TrainsWikiProject|class=???}} and replace the question marks with the corresponding article quality assessment as described on that page's table (so, it could be {{TrainsWikiProject|class=start}} or {{TrainsWikiProject|class=B}}).
3. Re: "In the 'PREVIEW' the Wikipedia software has divided my writing into different formats - I NEVER ASKED IT TO DO THIS! HELP !!": this was done because you left spaces in front of the text, I fixed this here. Compare:

Land speed record for rail
[edit]Hello. I understand you like or known well trains. Could you help me to completely restructure the "land speed record for rail" page (where propagandists have added lot of category to put Chineses trains) ?
I think that a "record page" must dwell on real "speed record", and not on "fastest relations between cities", "fastest speed first attained", etc.
I have already made lot of corrections and modifications, but I want to think about a better presentation/organisation.
Thanks.--FlyAkwa (talk) 21:35, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
Suggestion: Traduction

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited PESA SA, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page MTU (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Templates, assessments, stubs
[edit]You correctly removed the stub template from the article. To change the talk page rating, you change the appropriate keyword, so {{WikiProject Poland|class=stub|importance=Low}} becomes {{WikiProject Poland|class=C|importance=high}}, for example. To learn more, see Wikipedia:Templates (pl szablon), Wikipedia:Assessments, Wikipedia:Stubs. I've reassessed the article, adding more WikiProjects. Per your explanation, I added mid to train project importance, but for Poland, it is of low importance (if you disagree, please discuss this at WT:POLAND). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 18:18, 7 October 2012 (UTC)

Balise
[edit]Atleast for KVB I am sure that it does not use Eurobalises but an older balise type. Guidod (talk) 13:15, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
Hello, Guidod: You are right. I added 'KVB' and 'ASFA' to the 'Usage' section of the 'Balise' article without paying attention to whether the balises used in KVB and ASFA are Eurobalises (as you point out, they are not). Since - by definition - the 'Balise' article is not restricted to Eurobalises, I have expanded the 'Usage' list to include systems using balises other than Eurobalises. Please take a look at this new edit, and see what you think.Prospero10 (talk) 02:02, 1 September 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Generation War may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Maxim Musson's edits
[edit]My welcome to him was not an endorsement of his edits, which I haven't reviewed (outside checking whether they are not simple vandalism). I agree with you that they are otherwise unwelcome; the relevant policy is WP:RS. If that editor continues to insert his content without discussing it, you can report him to WP:ANI/3RR and request a block there. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 21:13, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
- If you think he needs to be blocked, please take this to the admin forum at WP:VIP or WP:AN; however if he is just reverting the 3RR link I have you earlier is the best. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 15:04, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
Hi Prospero10,
Perhaps it would have been polite for you to contact me before deleting the insertions I made into the Generation War page. Perhaps it would have been polite also to explain in what way the insertions I made are qualitatively different to the bulk of the material already on that page?
I inserted a quotation from the review of the Generation War series in a section that was composed of quotations by a number of other reviewers. In doing so I simply added an additional viewpoint to those already there without deleting anything that anyone else had written (that's very polite and democratic of me, I know). In what way is adding another opinion to the range of alternative opinions already expressed, objectionable?
I inserted an external link to the review I have written of the Generation War series, in a section of the page provided for external links to reviews of the series. In what way is this objectionable? Maxim Musson (talk) 16:30, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
Some Kind Of Response Would Be Nice
[edit]Hi Prospero10, you seem to have gone very quiet over your unwarranted interference in my additions to the Generation War article. Perhaps you would like to communicate the substance of your dissatisfaction with my additions? Or perhaps you have lost interest and are now inclined to mind your own business. Perhaps you would let me know? Maxim Musson (talk) 23:55, 15 February 2014 (UTC)

At this moment, it's a construction project building a railway line! The project is due to be completed either 30 June 2015, or perhaps some details such as governmental reviews are supposed to be completed 1 September 2015, and operation is scheduled to start on that date. Obviously when operation starts there will need to be an operator, but none of the sources that I have seen identify the operator.
My main sources are 'Rynek Kolejowy' and 'Kurier Kolejowy,' two publications covering Polish railways.
So my simple answer is that it's a railway line, and that for me is the interesting aspect of the project. The Pomeranian Voivodeship identifies itself as the driving force behind the project, but I doubt that it will be the operator.Prospero10 (talk) 16:22, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
