Speedy deletion of Grungy Feet

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Grungy Feet, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. —Largo Plazo (talk) 02:17, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is that what they taught you at Princeton? Maybe it's just as well I decided to go elsewhere.—Largo Plazo (talk) 02:18, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
no thats not what they taught me at princeton i'm a high school student. me and my friend decide to start calling an employee at work grungy toes, even though we had no idea what it meant. she got pissed and wanted to find out what it was, so i made up a wikipedia article about it to convince her it was real. but she never got to read it because it took you .5 seconds to find it and delete it. you could have just removed it tomorrow or something. thanks for ruining a funny joke wikipedia man.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Princetongraduate (talkcontribs)
Well, Wikipedia isn't here for you to play jokes. I understand that it was funny from your end, but from our end (that is, the point of view of Wikipedia users), it's vandalism. Vandalism gets dealt with swiftly.—Largo Plazo (talk) 02:44, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
yeah i really don't think anyone other than my friend was going to plan on looking up grungy toes on wikipedia. maybe if this was a huge risk of being viewed then i wouldn't of done that, but i didn't know that grungy toes was that popular of a subject. i would hate to dissapoint the avid wikipedia fan base by giving them false information on this subject that i guess is highly important.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Princetongraduate (talkcontribs)
LOL about it being a popular subject. No, there is a page where people can patrol new pages as they are created so that the ones that don't belong here don't stick around very long.—Largo Plazo (talk) 03:12, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
so you have a wikipedia police force? i don't even think google is this stupi........i mean organized —Preceding unsigned comment added by Princetongraduate (talkcontribs) 03:18, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not a police force, but while Wikipedia is free for all, it isn't a free-for-all. If it were, it wouldn't be useful for the purpose for which it was invented. See this. Also, another note: please sign your posts when you leave them on Talk pages.
