Image without license

[edit]

Unspecified source/license for File:Wisepad series.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Wisepad series.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 10:45, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia: Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 11:31, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

I haven't take any money from anyone to add or remove any content from the website. I did realise that I made a mistake by using the brand in my user name. I also understand why my account has been blocked & I am promising you that this won't happen again in future. Now requesting you to please unblock my account as I am willing to contribute more on places, payment solution & fintech organization's topic

Decline reason:

Blatant advertising, and I have off-wiki evidence that you are indeed a WP:PAID editor with a clear and very direct conflict of interest. As you appear to be actively attempting to mislead us about the exact nature of your connection to Mswipe, I am declining your unblock request. You are welcome to make a new request, but you'll need to specify the exact nature of your relationship and you'll have to explain your attempt to dissemble. You'll also not be unblocked to write about subject areas for which you have a conflict of interest. Yamla (talk) 12:53, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

As I have already said that I haven't taken any money from anyone but yes I am directly associate with the organization "Mswipe". I am working in the organization in the marketing department & I have created an article for the same but intension was not to promote our product but to give information as there was no article for the same. Yes, I do realise that content wasn't written well but I can rewrite that as Mswipe is well-known Fintech startup in India. Now requesting you to please unblock my account so that I can rewrite content well and contribute for the same.

Decline reason:

You don't have to be specifically paid for your edits to be a paid editor; being an employee counts. Wikipedia is not for merely providing information, that is considered promotional here. You don't have to be soliciting customers or selling something. Wikipedia summarizes what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about(in this case) a company, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. Wikipedia is not interested in what a company wants to say about itself. The fact that you use the term "startup" strongly suggests the company does not yet merit an article. Companies must already be established and well written about by independent source to merit an article. Since you say you are only interested in editing about your company, there are no grounds to lift the block. That makes this the end of the line for your Wikipedia editing career. If you want to contribute about topics completely unrelated to your company and conflict of interest, please tell what topics those would be. 331dot (talk) 11:16, 16 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Wisepad series.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Wisepad series.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --TheImaCow (talk) 08:46, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
