A tag has been placed on Alex Roman, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. (See section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Wikipedia has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Wikipedia:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
  • It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. RA0808 talkcontribs 04:29, 23 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Speedy Deletion
Hello, PotatoKey. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia.
I'm sorry, but this has been deleted as meeting one or more of the Categories for Speedy Deletion.
Generally, articles are speedily deleted when there is no assertion of significance or they fall into things to avoid or what Wikipedia is not.
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written about the subject.
Sometimes articles are deleted because they contain content copyrighted elsewhere. Such content can be used as a source of information, but the content here must be completely rewritten from scratch.
Some articles contain material written in a promotional tone. These must often be written from scratch. They are vigorously deleted.
Any content that is negative in tone and unsourced or which is disparaging will also be vigorously deleted.
Any deficiencies with notability, sourcing, or things to avoid should be remedied before reposting as they can lead to repeated deletions.
For test edits, click PotatoKey/sandbox
If you want to try again, please use the Article Wizard to guide you through the creation process.
You may find this tool useful: Google custom search

If you have verifiable information from reliable sources that show subject does meet notability requirements Let me know.
CONTENT IN ARTICLES NEEDS TO BE RELIABLY SOURCED.

Repost of Alex Roman

[edit]

Information icon A tag has been placed on Alex Roman requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Thank you.
