Links to draft articles
[edit]Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Poker After Dark. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 15:25, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, PokerHistory. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:58, 18 April 2021 (UTC)

[edit]PokerGO Cup moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, PokerGO Cup, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 17:44, 4 July 2021 (UTC)

GGPoker draft review request
[edit]Hello Pokerhistory. I submitted a draft article about GGPoker on Articles for Creation, and I'm looking for editors to review and edit it. The initial draft was declined, but it has since been edited. We're looking for editors to help refine the article to ensure that it meets Wikipedia's standards.
Full disclosure, I work for NSUSLab, GGPoker's platform developer, so I have a financial conflict of interest. I'm trying to reach out to editors with interests in Poker or Gambling who would be willing to help edit the article, any feeback at all would be appreciated.
