Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

[edit]

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Joey Mills, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

Your AfDs

[edit]

Hi there, welcome to Wikipedia. It's not often a new editor joins the project to participate in AfDs. Did you have a previous account or experience editing as an IP? Also, if you are a new participant in deletion discussions, I'd encourage you to read through WP:BEFORE and expand your searches before nominating. I !voted in a few of your AfDs where sources definitely exist to support the article's notability. Again, welcome and good luck! Dclemens1971 (talk) 03:52, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Pitille02,
I think you should delay nominating any more articles for deletion discussions as the ones you have started have all ended up as Keep or closed early. I don't think you have enough knowledge of Wikipedia policies and guidelines and editing experience to know when an article's deletion should be considered. Please work on improving articles and finding applicable sources and wait to participate in administrative tasks until you have more experience as an editor.
If you have questions, please bring them to the Teahouse where experienced editors can offer you advice, support and a second opinion. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 04:39, 6 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Pitille02 -- Just a note about Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Robert E. Ireland -- there's clear consensus that Robert E. Ireland meets the guidelines for academics; I'd suggest you withdraw this one and don't bring academics to WP:Articles for deletion until you understand the guidelines (linked above) a little better. Regards, Espresso Addict (talk) 04:25, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Dclemens1971, Liz, and Espresso Addict: This account is a sock of Alon9393, in Spanish Wikipedia we had a very serious problem with the user today, including vandalic behavior aganinst a local user. Taichi (talk) 00:02, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:Alon9393 per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Alon9393. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
