Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Piruty Pipaty, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Vijay Kartik Kannan did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome!  Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 11:02, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi!
Thank you so much for fixing my error in the page of Vijay Kartik Kannan.

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Rajinikanth filmography, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bengali. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 05:54, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Moving page

[edit]

When moving pages, you should explain why you will move such pages. I've seen this today; you moved both List of South Indian films of 2022 and List of South Indian films of 2023 without explanation. Those have been reverted on ground of consistency but take this to mind not to move pages without discussion or explanation in the summary. Hope that helps! ToadetteEdit! 17:02, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Piruty Pipaty, I just wanted to chime in and say it's okay to move pages if you have a valid reason and you're fairly certain nobody will object, however while you are new, seeking input or consensus first is always a good choice (before the move, ideally) If you aren't sure, you're free to ask at WP:TEAHOUSE first. Thanks for your contributions! ASUKITE 18:48, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your contributions to Everest International School, Japan. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Ratnahastin (talk) 10:59, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much !
Due to your act of kindness, I could realize my mistake. I have now added more sources and is about to publish it for reviews.

Saw your tags that say "will be edited soon" at Senthil filmography and Arbaaz Khan filmography. These are not necessary and you can always add the Overview section at your own leisure. Alternatively, if the article is not ready or sourced, it could have stayed as a draft for longer. DareshMohan (talk) 07:39, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for reminding me.
Actually, I am going to edit the Overview of either one of them today and another tomorrow. I am sorry for confusion.

Attribution

[edit]

Hello Piruty Pipaty, thank you for creating Arbaaz Khan filmography. I noticed that you copied content from the Arbaaz Khan article to this one but didn't provide attribution. Just a reminder, when copying content between Wikipedia pages, it's important to include proper attribution. Could you please take care of this when you have a moment? Thanks! – DreamRimmer (talk) 16:40, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed you copied content from several articles in your creations. Please attribute all of those as soon as possible. Thanks! – DreamRimmer (talk) 16:44, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Filmography pages

[edit]

Please stop adding an "overview" section to filmography pages. You have been reverted in multiple articles, so please stop re-adding them. Krimuk2.0 (talk) 06:40, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't move pages without consensus like you did here [1]. See Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Film#Taglines. DareshMohan (talk) 00:51, 12 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Mirrors

[edit]

Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article Chyangli. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you.
