Information icon Hello, I'm Belbury. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Ghost hunting have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Belbury (talk) 08:24, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional? I do not even know the individual nor do I live in his home state. The sources I used were all mainstream, non-local websites and news coverages. Nor did it contain any links for anyone to "purchase" or "buy" anything.I will re-add this edit later with cite web templates, I will omit the mention of him being a YouTuber if thats where the concern lies. Christopher Bores. Pillow da Don (talk) 20:44, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A section such as "Notable paranormal investigators" should be written with some balance. It's currently only covering Harry Price and Ed and Lorraine Warren, the three most famous investigators of the 20th century. It shouldn't devote a third subsection to YouTuber who does live shows for a venue in Ohio, implying that he is the only significant paranormal investigator of the last twenty years. Please do not add Chris Bores back to the article. Belbury (talk) 21:09, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Christopher Bores moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Christopher Bores. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability, it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and With respect to sourcing, WP:ILC, WP:IMDB, and WP:INTERVIEW are some guideposts to improve the draft.. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. – robertsky (talk) 11:30, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Chris Bores (YouTuber) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Chris Bores (YouTuber), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ne-Yo discography, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages A Girl Like Me and Real Talk. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:10, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Russ (rapper)

[edit]

As reliable sources mainly refer to him as Russ, and he only uses it professionally it needs to be made clear that this is his better known name. For example the Elvis Presley article gives his full name followed by better known monomously as Elvis, regards Atlantic306 (talk) 23:03, 1 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Worth it

[edit]

hi hi. Chris Brown wrote that record. Check its official credits. I don't know why you're continuously removing it (without even giving an explaination for it). An explanation from you is needed. Lean Harvey Oswald (talk) 11:41, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Well if you're talking about the song "Worth It" by Young Thug, it was not included due to that song instead interpolating "Autumn Leaves" by Chris Brown instead, hence why the songs co-writers, Kendrick Lamar and B.A.M. are credited on the "Worth It".[1] According to the guideline that's been established for the section, it needs to be songs Breezy (or whichever artist) had direct credit of involvement with. That's why it says "(excluding guest appearances, interpolations, and samples)." Pillow da Don (talk) 01:39, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Rino Romano, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please see WP:DOB Waxworker (talk) 14:56, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your comment. However, unfortunately, I have noticed you have been reverting some decent, sourced edits across the site without explanation. One such time, undid your own revert because the edit I made was constructive and improved the article. If you continue to do this, try to supply an edit summary so editors can know what to improve on with the version of which you undid. Understand that we (except for a minute few) are all trying to build a better site here, and the edits of mine and others take extended amounts of time and research. While I concur that guidelines need to be met, please don’t make your time as a Wikipedian dismissive of this and needlessly militant, or worse yet, stressful, for yourself and others.
—P.S. If the rationale for doing so in that information is unsourced, take closer looks at the references provided (even if it’s an article that you’re not personally interested in) Pillow da Don (talk) 02:52, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. Liz Read! I created the article, and it was created too early. It was fair to delete the article as it was meant to be a redirect in the first place. Pillow da Don (talk) 01:37, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Chris Bores

[edit]

Hello Pillow da Don, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Chris Bores, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chris Bores (2nd nomination).

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|SafariScribe}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
