Draft on Sun Woo Jin Denied

Hello! This is the author who wrote the article on Sun Woo Jin. I was denied for the lack of sources for a majority of my person's information's early life. I got this information off of the Korean wikipedia page. Should I cite the Korean wikipedia page for this information? The official article on the Korean wikipedia page does not have sources for the information stated on it either. What should I do? LoremIpsum442123 (talk) 17:44, 3 January 2023 (UTC)

@LoremIpsum442123 (talk page stalker) I am inclined to agree with the decline. What you need to do is to find a few excellent references. The Korean Wikipedia article may lead you to them, but I think you have said it, too, is lacking. Does the person pass WP:NPOLITICIAN? It is up to you to prove that they do. I differ from you in my assessment of this draft. I believe there is sufficient referencing and notability shown for out to have a "better than 50% chance of surviving an immediate deletion process" which is all we are required to assess in order to accept.

To me it is a borderline pass for WP:GEOLAND 51:49 at the minimum. One of the things we have to learn when we start to review is to have the courage to accept borderline passes. We can then comment on the talk page and tag for improvement.

Be unconcerned if it is sent to AfD subsequently. A reviewer is but one person, and AfD is the community. If one of my acceptances is sent for deletion I remain neutral 🇺🇦 Fiddle^Timtrent Faddle^Talk to me 🇺🇦 11:38, 4 January 2023 (UTC)
