Rajah Alon?
[edit]Can you please provide some verification that a Rajah Alon existed as the King of Tondo? I have searched and I cannot find any sources mentioning him in English. If you don't verify the article with at least one reliable source, I will nominate the article for deletion. Fences&Windows 21:35, 7 March 2011 (UTC)
- The same goes for Rajah Gambang, Rajah Lontok, Dayang Kalangitan, Rajah Sulaiman I, Empress Sasaban. Basic proof of their existence is all I'm asking for. Fences&Windows 21:44, 7 March 2011 (UTC)
The article Rajah Gambang has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Entry with a single, unreliable source. The source in question is most likely a hoax. The author of this article failed to answer to queries regarding the existence of Rajah Gambang in his/her talk page. No reliable sources in major academic journals and books are identified to support the very existence of a historical person named "Rajah Gambang" aside from a single unreliable webpage which makes the person in question a hoax. There is zero coverage of this topic in major scholarly circles and zero mentions in secondary sources. It doesn't deserve an entry as per WP:RS and WP:NN guidelines.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Stricnina (talk) 19:46, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
The article Rajah Alon has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No reliable secondary sources are cited. Only a webpage with doubtful reliability is cited. No reliable academic sources can be found to support Rajah Alon's existence. There is no significant coverage of this topic in major scholarly circles and almost zero mentions in many secondary sources. The author also failed to answer to questions regarding the reliability of the source used, judging from the author's silence in his/her talk page. Since no reliable secondary sources are identified, it doesn't deserve an entry as per WP:RS and WP:NN guidelines.
