[edit]I would like to know if you are still an active participant in the WP:ZOO, If you are please confirm by way of responding on my talk page and or Wikipedia:WikiProject Zoo/Members. I am just trying to get an idea of how many people are still engaged in the project as to better work out how to manage and address things that are listed in the project. January 2015
[edit]Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Nemanja Vidić, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for January 24
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Elizabeth Ramsey, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page San Carlos City. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Rollback
[edit]I have granted rollback rights to your account. After a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, contact me and I will remove it. Good luck and thanks. – Gilliam (talk) 23:13, 24 February 2015 (UTC)

Minzy page deletion and redirect to 2ne1 main page
[edit]Good day to you. You recently deleted the Minzy page and redirected it back to the 2ne1 page. May I suggest very humbly that you restore it back to its original state. The person who recommended it for deletion has herself stated that she only did so to ensure speedy editing of the page in question. She had no real intention of it being deleted, also she stated that she did not know the proper manner in which to achieve this and that was why she recommended it for deletion, in the hope that fans would flock into the discussion and try to redeem the page. Sadly fans do not sit around in anticipation of such a thing happening and so could not do so. I realise that the Minzy page was very sparse of information and Minzy's international fansites are now ready to make the proper edits if the page is restored. It is argued that Minzy has no notibility outside of 2ne1, we beg to differ. It is quite true that she has had no solo song outside the duet she recorded with CL, however she has had several solo activities outside her activities as a member of the group. If the page is restored this information will be made known with the appropriate sources cited. This might not be enough to satisfy the WP:MUSBIO rules on notibility of a musician but may I humbly draw your attention to the clause that states: "Please note that the failure to meet any of these criteria does not mean an article must be deleted". Also it was revealed in late 2013 during the announcement of 2ne1's 2014 All or Nothing world tour that Minzy recorded a solo song in 2011 which is yet to be released. Furthermore, her activities in 2015 have showed clear signs that there is something in the works regarding her solo, so this criterion should not be an issue for much longer. If the page cannot be restored due to constraints of the notibility (music) rules then might we suggest it be restored under the notibility (people) category as an entertainer. We ask that you reconsider your decision and action regarding this page and if when restored and after appropriate edits it still falls short then you may rescind the action and redirect it back to the 2ne1 main page. I think that it is only fair to approach you first regarding the matter before submitting the page for deletion review. I sincerely hope you will reconsider. Thank you. I believe my Article was notable enough this time
[edit]Hello. I believe my Article was notable enough this time however it is deleted without giving me any satisfactory explanation. The procedure i have followed: Make draft, join chat and spend 1 whole day to edit and compose excellent article based on suggestion and edits by experts at the chat, submit draft, draft accepted, draft reviewed and edited by WikiProject_Video_games editor and completely published. Then i ask chat again about isn’t this too much edit? then primefac opens speedy delete then it is deleted without giving me any explanation in matter of minutes. If you check the issue i appreciate ty very much : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MonsterMMORPG . And there were not any discussion it was deleted immediately. One more notice: I checked same genre games articles and majority of them have way more less authority references and even some have 0 references. Thank you very much for your help. [edit]I write to you regarding Wikipedia:WikiProject Zoo/Members where you are presently listed under active members. The project is sadly rather inactive and in severe need of active members. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Images from the PCOO
[edit]Hi, Joaquin008. I've noticed your uploads to Commons of images from the PCOO and I was hoping to let you know that you haven't been uploading the original versions. When you download an image from the PCOO's Google+ account, click "More" (or "Higit pa"), then "Download image" (or "I-download ang larawan"). I've been trying to replace your uploads with their original higher-resolution versions, and hopefully next time you'll know how to download the originals so you can upload them yourself in the future. Thanks! :) --Sky Harbor (talk) 00:11, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
New deal for page patrollers
[edit]Hi Joaquin008,
In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.
Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.
Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)

2019 US Banknote Contest
[edit]US Banknote Contest | ||
---|---|---|
November-December 2019 | ||
There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons. In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate. If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions here |

Participation in a research study of Wikipedians
[edit]Hi Joaquin008,
My name is Lara Yang, and I am a PhD student in Organizational Behavior at Stanford University. As a part of a research study to better understand work dynamics on Wikipedia, our research team is currently conducting interviews with Wikipedians. Because you are an active editor on Wikipedia, we would love to learn more about your work and hear your perspective on how Wikipedia, and open-source communities in general, function to produce and organize high-quality knowledge. We have done our best to learn about the dynamics of collaboration on Wikipedia from secondary sources, which we are hoping to complement with your invaluable first-hand insights.
The interview will take around 45 minutes and be semi-structured in format. Any identifying information in your responses will be kept strictly confidential, and will not be disclosed in the analysis nor the research paper. If you are interested in participating, please email us via the 'Email this user' tool on my user page and suggest a few time slots in the upcoming weeks that work best for you. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule. Should you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to let us know. We look forward to hearing from you.
