Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Akerans (talk) 00:47, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
Edit war warning
[edit]Please be aware:
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing.
Please use the article talk page to discuss content issues. Active Banana (talk) 02:22, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
Discussion at AN/I
[edit]Please note that you were mentioned in a discussion at the incidents noticeboard. --Joshua Scott (LiberalFascist) 02:39, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
revised version
[edit]Per our policies of verification and neutral point of view I have significantly reduced the content while also adding additional sources. I myself am not a fan of using Allmusic as a source, but the current content sourced to Allmusic does not appear to be controversial. If there is anything currently sourced to Allmusic or another source which you do not believe to be properly sourced please use Talk:Peter Godwin (singer) or our processes outlined at Wikipedia:Autobiography#Problems in an article about you.
Note that making legal threats will have other consequenses. Active Banana (talk) 03:28, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
- If you are, or are representing, Peter Godwin, please read the advice at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Help. JohnCD (talk) 09:56, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
