Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Pedscards. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Shelby Kutty, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Notfrompedro (talk) 22:50, 25 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Are you claiming you have absolutely no connection to Shelby Kutty? Notfrompedro (talk) 23:42, 25 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely no connection.. I am physician who is following his research work and he has been very inspiring for us to improve in our field.. hence I created the page..

PushpaShivaram created the page. Once they were warned about needing to declare their WP:COI per WP:PAID that account stopped editing and yours was created. So you have used two accounts to edit Shelby Kutty and yet you have no connection to the subject? Notfrompedro (talk) 11:44, 26 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No connection .. prove it otherwise.. what’s the point in blaming rather than proving.. you are just assuming

Can you please explain how you can claim copyright to this image, which is obviously from the same photo session as on his university page?
There are two possibilities.
1. You took this photograph, or you have personal access to his university resources. This means you do have a connection.
2. You do not own this photo and cannot grant licence for Wikipedia to use it. So it will be removed.
Actually both are possible, but which is it? --Escape Orbit (Talk) 11:31, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:PushpaShivaram per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/PushpaShivaram. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  --Blablubbs (talk) 10:26, 15 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
