Edits in Adriana Caselotti article
I was wondering how we should regard some recent edits by [[User:148.255.228.186|148.255.228.186]] in the [[Adriana Caselotti]] article? Thanks. Garagepunk66 (talk) 20:13, 19 June 2023 (UTC)Garagepunk66 (talk) 20:12, 19 June 2023 (UTC)
- I'm not sure. It seems like the edit war didn't go back-and-forth more than a couple times, so it seems like it's good for now... maybe? :)

- I was thinking that it looked like an edit war, but I wanted to know how other editors more familiar with the article view the situation. I hope that it cools down. Thanks and good luck! Garagepunk66 (talk) 03:39, 21 June 2023 (UTC)

Women in Red 8th Anniversary
Women in Red 8th Anniversary | |
In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary! Join us for some virtual cake and add comments or memories and please keep on editing to close the gap! |

Women in Red
Hi there, Pedantical, and thanks for developing women's biographies. I also see you have run into problems with a recent draft. You might find it useful to become a member of WikiProject Women in Red where we are trying to chip away at the gender gap. If you are interested, you can sign up under "New registratations" on Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/New members. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 09:10, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
- Glad to see you signed up. So welcome to the project! You might find it useful to look at some of our essays, perhaps starting with our Ten Simple Rules. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 19:45, 18 July 2023 (UTC)
- Hi!
- Thanks for the nudge! I meant to send a little bop back over to you—I really appreciate the invite!
- WP:WIRED was the first WikiProject to really catch my eye, and I’m glad to say that I’ve helped draft and publish two articles so far in the spirit of the project, and hopefully a third published soon (Draft:Freya Holmér was just resubmitted for re-review!).
- If you have any feedback for improvements to that particular article, I’d be happy to tack more changes on before it is reviewed.
- Thanks for the tips as well.

- I'm no expert on video games but at first sight it seems to me that some of the sources you have used are primary or close to primary rather than independent secondary sources. Interviews and sites closely related to the subject should be avoided. You should base the article on information you have found on reliable independent sources and make sure each paragraph contains at least one citation. If you make adjustments along these lines, I would be happy to take a new look at the article. Hope this helps.--Ipigott (talk) 08:21, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
