Your recent edits of Marriage template usage

If you are removing the deprecated "his death" or "her death", you should also remove the end date as well, per "If the marriage ended because of the death of the article's subject, do not provide a date." Aithus (talk) 23:15, 20 March 2023 (UTC)

Oo... This sent me down a rabbit hole quite a bit here. It looks like some have been fixed, but I am going back to properly format the ones that should not have the end-date specified.
Thank you for catching me here! Pedantical (talk) 02:10, 21 March 2023 (UTC)

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Hey there!
The edit that was made to the page was in reference to the Template:Marriage instructions as to not list the reason/end nor end-date if it was due to the death of the article's subject. I see now that I didn't go back and properly add that comment in and will go and do to avoid any confusion. I really do appreciate the undo/revert because of the lack of proper reason on that.
I'll re-edit the Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale article accordingly to match the others so that the hidden category "Category:Marriage template deprecations" is no longer listed.
Let me know if you have any concerns, otherwise I'll apply the edit later today.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Teio, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page William McCoy. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

IP Unblock Request: May 2023

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Pedantical (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Caught by a colocation web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. My IP address is 184.105.52.168. This IP address is seemingly shared amongst businesses and other ISP subscribers of a particular region I visit frequently. Pedantical (talk) 02:34, 20 May 2023 (UTC)

Decline reason:

That's probably because it's on a /22 range we've blocked for a long time. Since your account is not blocked, you can edit from other IPs. There's no block for me to lift on it, and it's not an easy task to get a proxy block lifted. Your best bet would be to go to WP:IPECPROXY and follow the instructions there to request IP block exemption. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:27, 20 May 2023 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Shader Forge moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Shader Forge, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Oh my goodness, thank you for moving them! They were intended to be Draft: articles and I was not in my right headspace working from mobile while drafting them out. Thanks again DIVINE, much appreciated!
