Welcome

[edit]

Hello, Patience456 and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.

Go through our online training for students.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! DThomsen8 (talk) 16:22, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - I'm excited to be taking this class together! I think this minor will definitely tie in nicely with your interest in health topics; it seems as though that is a popular choice among students in this course. Efoxman42 (talk) 18:35, 3 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect question

[edit]

Hi, Thank you for the welcome. Vocational rehabilitation redirects to a GI bill page. What should I do to fix this? Patience456 (talk) 04:35, 17 September 2015 (UTC)

Apparently it is now fixed. --DThomsen8 (talk) 13:11, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions for you.

[edit]
  1. When leaving a new talk page item, always put it at the bottom by using New Section at the top.
  2. When mentioning an article, use brackets so the reader can click to the article right away.
  3. Always use the signature icon or four tildes (upper left next to 1) to sign your talk page entry.
  4. Use double brackets on your user page, such as refugee law.
  5. Notice how this is done [[Refugee law|refugee law]] with "Refugee law" followed by the vertical bar and "refugee law" to avoid the redirect.

Any questions? Ask right here, using number of the line.--DThomsen8 (talk) 13:30, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
