Clovis

[edit]

The article you're talking about was Clovis_executive_search_and_staffing_firm, which (from looking at the logs) was created at about 16:00 on 29 March by User:LeoScript and deleted an hour later (by User:RHaworth) as being pure spam - a deletion which, having looked at the deleted content, I entirely agree with. I'm not sure, however, why I am involved - I didn't delete the page concerned, nor did I remove the additions to the Clovis page - RHaworth did that. Looking through my logs (ie. what I deleted over that period of time) I can't see that I did anything Clovis-related, nor are there any other deleted contributions by LeoScript other than the Clovis executive search page. Where exactly did you get the reply that I had deleted the page in question? Can you provide me with a diff? GBT/C 22:12, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just to expand slightly on the above - to address the question of what is or is not spam, it might help if you have a read here. The article in question was speedily deleted - a process which is outlined in more detail here. If you have any questions at all, feel free to leave a message on my talk page. Incidentally, if you asked on the new users page, were you logged in at the time? Just asking because your contributions display no posting to a page of that nature. GBT/C 22:20, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Footnotes is a good starting point, by the way. GBT/C 22:25, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
