Articles for deletion/Pulse Recording
[edit]I'm disappointed that you reached the decision to delete the Pulse Recording page, but understand that a decision had to be made. What really concerns me is that wiki users have now gone and proposed deletion of many other Music publisher articles, with the question of notability being proposed. Does this concern you? It certainly concerns me to think that wikipedia is in the business of deterring the creation of articles, specifically from the entertainment industry where client success always dictates company success, and independent sources are going to cover the client (not the company) 99% of the time.
Being optimistic that this experience will create a discussion with wiki editors like yourself, and maybe affect the general opinion on questioning notability to entertainment industry related companies, can you offer me advice as to when and how I can propose the re-creation of the Pulse Recording article? Could you also let me know where I can propose my topline concern (as stated above) to the wiki powers-that-be? Thank you for your help (Jpoindex (talk) 14:42, 21 May 2012 (UTC))
- May I also request that this article be userfied again? Jpoindex/Pulse Recording. Thank you (Jpoindex (talk) 16:47, 21 May 2012 (UTC))
- A second request to have this deleted article userfied again. Jpoindex/Pulse Recording. Thank you (Jpoindex (talk) 19:01, 24 May 2012 (UTC))
- I take it that this is the version. Jpoindex, how are you getting on? -- Trevj (talk) 10:28, 1 June 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, thank you Trevj (Jpoindex (talk) 16:15, 1 June 2012 (UTC))
I saw that you closed this as keep. I of course agree, since that's how I !voted, but I was curious about your thought process on it, since it had been relisted, and no other significant comments had been made after that. Thanks. —Torchiest talkedits 14:51, 21 May 2012 (UTC)

Thomas Bridegroom Deletion
[edit]I noticed the deletion of the entry of Thomas Bridgegroom. I think it may have been premature. I understand some of the reasoning behind it since the page was created by his partner. This said, it has become a rather big news story in the marriage equality issue in the United States and the news coverage regarding the youtube video in which Thomas Bridegroom is featured is growing exponentially as news media outlets are covering this news. Some examples of such coverage is ABC 7 in Los Angeles devoting a significant amount of air time to this video in particular, and the entertainment news program The Insider. Perhaps this deletion should be reversed for the time being. Your thoughts? Stuffguys (talk) 06:32, 22 May 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Panyd, I know you are very busy but in Oct 2010 you were kind enough to do a peer review of the article called Tony Nader. At that time you made some recommendations which I have now acted on. I was wondering if you might be kind enough to have a quick look at the BLP (its quite short) and see if you have any further comments. It would be greatly appreciated. And I'm offering you a cookie as a shameless form of bribery :-) There is no rush, whenever you can find time. Thanking you in advance. -- — Keithbob • Talk • 17:32, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Wikimania Video
[edit]Hi Fiona!
I saw your username on a list of Wikimania attendees. My name is Victor Grigas and I am a 'storyteller' at the Wikimedia foundation. It's my position to find and tell the stories of individual Wikipedians to share to get the public to be engaged and encouraged to support Wikipedia. I will be with a small team and we will be conducting on-camera interviews with Wikipedians at Wikimania from July 10th through July 15th and was hoping that you would be interested in sharing your story with me.
Please let me know if you are interested. There is limited availability and I expect my schedule to fill up quickly.
Hope we get to meet in person!
Victor
